We have some important news for you:

1. We are pleased to announce Early Access on Steam, which will begin on March 7 at 8 pm PST!
Los Angeles (March 7, 8 pm)
London (March 8, 4 am)
Tokyo (March 8, 1 pm)
Moscow (March 8, 7 am)

2. Launch Trailer will be released next week.

3. Alpha 1 will end on February 26.

Alpha 1.1 is here!



Key changes:


* The launcher is added to the game, with which you can check the release of new updates before you play
* Various general multiplayer fixes
* Fixed a bug with host migration when the host could exit at the end of the round and because of this the next round could not start
* Fixed getting stuck on the game screen with an empty location
* Now the "Waiting for players" window has a time limit to avoid waiting too long for players that are still loading. Players who came later will start the game as Ghouls
* Fixed missing victory for Survivors

Balance:


* Rover's third skill "Charge" has been removed, instead there will be an improved version of "Berserk"
* Rover has a new second skill - "Tough Skin", which increases resistance to damage, but reduces movement and attack speed
* The weapon now has a small random spread of damage, and the average damage has been slightly increased
* Added a smooth reduction of damage from a bullet in the distance. Distance depends on the type of weapon
* The number of Ammo in the location is slightly increased
* Round time reduced from 20 to 15 minutes
* The time of a quick respawn after death is increased from 2 to 3 seconds
* The time from infection to turning into Ghoul was reduced from 90 to 60 seconds
* Now the elevator window breaks with 3 hits instead of 2
* Some places on the location have been rebalanced
* A "Turn to Ghoul" button for the Survivors has been removed indefinitely

Improvements:


* In the main menu, a button is added with a link to our official Discord server. The button was added as a result of voting of premium users on the game forum
* In the main menu, a button is added with a link to the page for bug reports
* Additional "Create Server" button added to the Server Browser
* Now the corpses of players smoothly disappear with time, which is good for optimization
* Removed some useless breakable walls from the location, which is good for optimization
* Added V-Sync setting
* The standard position of the inactivity camera on the location has been changed
* Improved Rover sounds
* Added some new sounds
* Some small improvements

Fixes:


* Fixed the possibility of Ghoul getting infected
* Fixed inability to pick up items from snow
* Fixed problems with key rebinding
* Now Survivors with Support or Defense class will have a health equal to 120 from the very beginning of the round
* Fixed an incorrect increase in the health of the Rover to 270
* Motion blur has been removed
* Fixed the possibility of placing a barricade in the same place as the previous one
* Fixed an incorrect work of barbed wires that are lying next to each other
* The flying loot items in the air were fixed
* Fixed double and missing sounds
* Fixed some bugs with animation
* Some small fixes and optimization

At the first start of the game, the validation window of your Steam activation key will open. Known bugs and their solutions:



* In the server browser, the number of players on servers may not be displayed correctly
* When entering the already created game, a lobby may open, which looks like an unbegun game. In this case, you need to wait for the further loading of the game
* When entering the already created game, the map can be loaded, but only the interior of the location will be displayed on the screen, without an interface. In this case, you need to wait for the further loading of the game
* When the game is created, each player waits for the loading of other players, while the display shows "Waiting for players". Depending on the technical characteristics of the players' PCs, the loading may take a long time
* In some cases, during the "Waiting for players", the exit to the pause menu may not work
* When the host leaves the server, sometimes the migration of the server may be incorrect, in which case you will need to re-create the server
* In the server browser, you can see phantom servers that do not already exist. When you connect to them, the game will hang on "Waiting for players"
* At the start of the game, loss of character control is possible, in this case press "ESC" and then "Continue"

The best solution to fix bugs is to restart the game client.

I want to share with you the latest update before launching Alpha 1.
You all remember that January 29 we published a post with detected bugs and planned improvements to Alpha 1.

So, it's time to draw conclusions:

Bugs:



The problems with reconnecting. -Passed the internal test
The problems of transferring the host to another one. -Passed the internal test
Some game settings do not work. -Passed the internal test
Sometimes players can become immortal. -Passed the internal test
Sometimes the physics of items does not work correctly. -OK. We will constantly improve physics
Item dropping works incorrectly. -Fixed
The animation of the player may not work correctly. -OK. We will constantly improve animations
Some sounds are not synchronized. -Now synchronized
Incorrect physics of doors. -Fixed

Improvements:

• Fixed reconnect.
• Shot particles improved.
• Fixed 3D sound on the location.
• Added highlighting of infected survivors for ghoul’s view.
• The location improved, more details added.
• The performance of the game is improved by 30%.
• Added blood.
• Improved wall breaking.
• Improved weapon's spread.
• Fixed an issue with missing hitboxes of some objects on the location.
• All game settings now work correctly.
• Fixed an issue when sometimes players could have become immortal.
• Camera shake has been developed, but not yet inserted into the game.
• Implemented an in-game chat interface.
