Dead Exit

Update 1.0.1.5 fixes.

Hello again.
I know it was only yesterday we updated last but we try our hardest to fix things that we find aren't working properly.

The two outstanding bugs from version 1.0.1.0 are now fixed.

We've also made some changes to the userdata stuff so hopefully that random bug some people were getting where the game crashed the first time, is now gone.

there were a couple of other minor tweaks and we also fixed a big that I think no one else has had the chance to come across.

In other news there is a linux version up, but it's having some trouble working. If there are a few linux users who want a code so they can fiddle with it and tell us who we screwed up the steam deployment then I'll happily pass those out. Just mail us at support@radiationburn.net.

Hope you are all still enjoying the game, and for those of you who have friends please give them a nudge to get the game today as the launch offer runs out tomorrow.

Update 1.0.1.0

Some significant updates, and a few not so significant ones.

+All cards have now been updated to be easier to read.
+several minor bugs found through testing and you guys playing, have now been fixed.
+Some wording tweaked.

Known issues.
We are looking into a weird bug that causes some peoples game to crash when they get to the steam sign in. We don't know yet what is causing it, but it is a temporary problem thankfully and there are a couple of workarounds in the discussion (although apparently just restarting the computer can fix it). If restarting doesn't work for you check out the discussion page.

If playing multiplayer and you choose to activate the last round early, this can cause a weird hang. We are trying to track that down and fix it now.

Thanks again for playing, and reading these notes. If you have any issues, or even thoughts on things you'd like to see, then get in touch because we like talking to you guys and getting your ideas and feedback.

Version 1.0.0.3 The Small things

Updating the game some more.
Biggest change you should notice is that the Survivor cards are a lot easier to read.

The vehicles and other cards will follow over the next few days.

The little dead hand thing that pops up when some things flip dead cards has also been painted.

There are also a couple of minor rule updates.
The Spotter Inside ability now destroys any Events (She sees them coming)
The Psycho Sacrifice is a little more brutal but more personal to her... issues.

Enjoy it, and if you feel like being really nice to us, encourage some of your friends to get it too while it's cheap!

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

New Version already. OMG Day 1 patch!

Hey Guys. I moved the current version from the Beta to the main branch so you should all see it update next time you start up steam (or force an update)

Visual differences mostly.

The Cards are much brighter and more vibrant so they are easier to read.

The little hand that comes up from the dead card occasionally is painted instead of coloured.

The game is also now a third the size it was before. It had a bunch of unnecessary lighting data that just wasn't needed.

I did not change the version number for this one and I apologize, but on the bright side we may very well update again tomorrow and I will then.

Also want to know if you guys are interested in us publishing images of all the cards somewhere?

Enjoy the game and let us know of any problems.

Thanks.

Release notes

Hi Everyone.

Hope you are all enjoying the game so far. Wanted to say a big thanks to those of you who have bought it and give a couple of notes in case you run into problems.

Firstly. If you previously had the demo, go to your AppData/LocalLow/Radiationburn/ and delete the Dead Exit folder. That can actually stop the game from loading due to a bug in the Demo Save data. Sorry about that. I'll update the Demo now to get that sorted.

Secondly. If you are playing online and having trouble connecting it's probably down to the usual PC issue of stubborn routers. We recommend using a VPN such as Hamachi or Tunngle. It's generally a good idea to have one of these handy for PC gaming as a whole if you enjoy playing things online.

Finally. Any questions or suggestions just go ahead and get in touch. We do bite, but nothing you can't handle. Our e-mail is support@radiationburn.net and we'll do our best to help.

Thanks again, and please help spread the word of this new game.
