First of all, i wanted to thank you all for your patience, it has been hard times lately,

Important, duo to engine update, old saves will not work with this new update

New Features:

UI Rework and improved interactions
Mutant Nests you can Burn using Molotov and obtain Nest Sample item
New area (POI) - Trader's Camp (you can get the dog from the traders)
Dog Companion you can give four orders:
- GO TO (The dog will move wherever you want, also if pointing at or near an enemy dog will enter attack mode)
- STAY (Dog will stay where he is)
- DEFENSIVE (Dog will auto attack any enemy nearby)
- FOLLOW (Dog will follow you everywhere, but will not attack anyone)

Dog Companion - WIP

Hello everyone, sharing some progress on the Dog Companion. This is still a work in progress, it is still missing some sound and currently testing out the best way to control the dog.
Right now you can give some orders like
- GO TO (The dog will move wherever you want, also if pointing at or near an enemy dog will enter attack mode)
- STAY (Dog will stay where he is)
- DEFENSIVE (Dog will auto attack any enemy near by)
- FOLLOW (Dog will follow you everywhere but will not attack anyone)

Update Progress

Hi everyone, just wanted to share some progress on the upcoming update:

- Zombie Nest

they will be spawning randomly around the map and where's a nest there are zombies around the area, to clean an area from zombies you must burn the Nest with fire. If you clean an area of nests only after 10 in game days there will be chance to spawn again in the area on another randomly generated position. This way you will be able to build whereever you want your bases, just make sure to clean nests when they spawn.



- UI improvements and Animations

In the upcoming update there will be a huge improvement to the UI and interactions, as an example you will be able to drag meat or wood to slots, instead of clicking and choosing options.
Also a new animation system have been implemented and it will allow for better FPS animations, such as igniting a campfire or filling up a bottle.

Hotfix Update

Small update to fix some errors:

- Fixed Car not being able to brake
- Attempt to fix some hiccups when moving through some areas
- Improved the way tree's spawn to prevent hiccups

Small update to fix some errors:

- Fixed a problem with AI navigation that caused Zombies walking through bases
- Fixed bandit camp house not spawning properly
- Now you can configure movement keys and flashlight key

Update 2.5

Update 2.5

This last days/weeks were focused on improving some code logic to allow for better fps and memory management specially when building bigger bases
but also some reported bugs have been fixed, and added some visual content like L-shaped Stairs and Wooden Railing

To prevent future updates to download always the full game, this version will upload the full game uncompressed,
this way Steam will compress it by itself and when a new update is released, only the changed files will be downloaded, so future updates size will be lowered.

- Fixed falling of terrain bug
- Fixed a bug causing traps to get destroyed instantly with only one zombie
- Fixed Chest colliding with player when moving from place
- Fixed closing inventory with inventory key while eating or doing any other action freeze player
- Increased Saw Durability
- Fixed Cooking Pot not saving position

Small update to fix some errors:

- Fixed "Loading Game World" freezing sometimes and prevent game from start
- Fixed an error related to loading terrains
- Fixed closing craft window in the middle of a craft or anything with a progress bar, you get froze in place and cant do anything
- Changed cloth text to Log on Wood foundation building
- Reduced rain sound
- Changed Steel Pickaxe material recipe, now it requires Iron Ingot

Hello everyone, after two and a half weeks of hard work, I can finally present to you the new update.
In this Update the major addition is the rework made to the save system, allowing now to create different save slots and a big improvement on the performance of the saving.
Sadly, duo to the changes to the save system, your old progress can't carry on to this version.

Now it is possible to configure some options such as: Disabling Waves, Change Wave Interval or Disable Aggressive night Zombies.

Here's the list of changes that will come with update 2:

New features
- Reworked save system, now it is possible to have multiple saves
- Added options to remove Waves of zombies, Wave Interval, Night Aggressive Zombies
- Added Sledge Hammer item, it can destroy structures faster and recover materials you used on the process
- Now it is possible to repair guns using the Workbench
- Now it is possible to repair tools using the Anvil
- You can now create electrical cable using the Workbench
- Now there is chance for dropping metal scrap near dumpsters
- Now is possible to build a wall on top of another wall
- You can now move Chest on top of Chest

Improvements
- Reduced RAM usage by 30 / 40% this was causing crashes
- Improved saving performance
- Improve open/close door interactions
- Improved base structure's health/getting damage logic
