Hello everyone,


sorry that this announcement again presents so little content. Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to develop something further in one day and at the same time prepare a little material and text for new announcements.
I will continue to concentrate on development for the next few days and then prepare some better material again.

My plan is to present my progress twice a week. Maybe always on Wednesday/Thursday and then again on Sunday.

Since this doesn't stay entirely without pictures/animations, here are a few new zombie models that I would like to use as bosses with special abilities and a small preview of what is possible with the loadout system for weapon/attachment combinations.

A few more information

Hello everyone,



another new feature is the recording of weapon statistics. In the Weapon Stats menu you can see how many shots you have fired with each weapon, how many hits, headshots, K/D statistics etc.



Now a few insights into a new map. There will be some more detailed information about this tomorrow.

I haven't posted anything for a long time now. Since I've been more focused on my full-time job and family, Deadly Land's development has been very slow.

But now I'm investing a little more time and would like to show you what new content and features you can look forward to.

Update 0.3.86 | Bug-Fixes | Flashlight

1. Collision changes:

  • Jumping on the truck should no longer be possible.
  • Jumping on the power boxes by the stairs to the subway is no longer possible
  • The boost machines now have a collision box which should prevent jumping on them
  • The gap in the fence between the main building and the shed now has a larger collision box.
  • The broken wall behind the shed now has a wider collision box
  • The blue tarpaulin that covers the car now has a collision box over it, which prevents jumping on it
  • The green garbage can behind the gas station now has a collision box over it, which prevents jumping on it.



2. Perk:

  • If you die, all perk icons will be reset and the character values ​​will be reset to the default
  • All perks can now be bought at the dealer (previously only 2xHP, Regeneration Boost and Movement Speed)
  • Prices at the dealer have been increased


3. Attachment:

  • At the request of some players, I added a flashlight as a test.
  • This attachment relates to the character and not to the weapon itself.
  • If this attachment is bought from the dealer, the flashlight can be used for all other weapons.
  • New entry in the keyboard layout. Look in the settings -> Default: "L"


Other fixes:

  • The light cone no longer shines through the wall
  • (Map: 2035) The two doors in the start building now have a collision box that prevents jumping through.
  • (Map: 2035) Zombies should now spawn faster
  • Buying ammunition (buying the same weapon) should now work reliably and costs half the price of the weapon


Changes:

  • New weapons have been added to the seller:
    2 x sniper rifles, 1 x grenade launcher
  • Pistols can now also be equipped with the red dot sight and the circle sight
  • The zoom of the sights has been changed and so hopefully have more use.

Update 0.3 | Map | Animations | Weapon | Quickstart

New:

Menu function: "Quickstart":
Via the menu item Quickstart, the player can now play with other players in multiplayer with just one click.
The function automatically searches for games with the status "Lobby" and joins the current game if a slot is available.
If no slot is available in a lobby, a new lobby is automatically hosted and made available to others.

New map: "The Tracks 2035":
This new map is the future version of the old "The Tracks" map.
In order to play this new map, a few tasks must be completed in the previous map.


Changes:

- Zombies now make additional noises (for example: footsteps sounds)
- The oil barrels: (New explosion sounds, new visual effects, can set zombies on fire and cause damage)
- Boost machines: (There is now a separate machine for each boost, machines always spawn randomly, boosts stay on for the entire game)
- Automatic opening of the character selection when entering the lobby
- New icons for the boosts
- Changes to the HUD
- Font changes in the main menu
- Grenades now have a white ring around them for better visibility
- Changes to the arm and weapon models

Since I got some new 3D models for the new maps, I changed the characters.
