In case you aren't familiar with the game, Vigilantes is a crime themed, turn based RPG, whose primary emphasis is on tense tactical battles, the use of surveillance to locate criminal activity, deep character development, resource management, and story telling.

Vigilantes: New Gang Illustration & Development Video
Hello again,
I'd like to share the most recent illustration from Vigilantes, which shows one of Reiker City's three gangs, The Church of The Final Exodus, in the middle of a bizarre cult ceremony. Illustration here

Fourteen months have passed since development began on Vigilantes, and there's some good news: an alpha version will be made available within the next 6 weeks. The alpha will be free, available through indie DB, and will contain a handful of levels from the game. This will allow you to be among the first to try an exciting new game for free, while feedback will be very useful to me in tuning Vigilantes.
For now, here's a video bringing you from the splash screen, through the main menu, and all the way to an encounter between Sam Contino, the protagonist, and a group of street thugs. Comments, questions and criticism are welcome!

Current WIP Development Video - Crime Themed Turn Based RPG
Hello!
Since releasing Deadstone on Steam, and between the later updates, I've been hard at work on a new game. I played a lot of X-Com, Fallout, and Jagged Alliance when I was younger, and the turn based genre is very dear to me, so I decided it was time to make one.
Nine months later, and things are beginning to take shape, although there is still much to be done. This development video covers a mission from the game where the protagonist encounters a potential ally. This ally has been lured to a desolate part of the city, and ambushed by a group of paramilitary survivalists. The player and their newfound ally must fight their way out, and escape.

Deadstone Update 5 Now Available!
The fifth update to Deadstone is now available for your gaming pleasure. As with previous upgrades, Update 5 builds on the existing game with a number of community and developer suggestions. Below you will find the release notes for the most recent improvements.
Enhancements & Additions
- New Perk: Death Robot V
- New Perk: Gambler
- New Perk: Munitions Factory
- New Perk: Beloved Bug
- New Perk: Polymath
- Added an option to show a damage popup for enemies
- Added a kill counter
- Added 4 new terrains for survival mode / arena / colonist rescue
- Added mappable keys for all weapons / equipment
- Defense scene camera keys now correspond to Player 1 movement keys
Fixes
- Added a system for manually completing levels, for the small number of players who have reported issues with levels occasionally not completing.

Update 4 (1.04) is now uploaded and ready for your gaming pleasure!
Enhancements & Additions
- Added new enemy behaviours to make combat in survival mode more dynamic.
- Added more detailed information on perks and upgrade benefits, and weapon stats, to allow for more informed planning.
- Added 6 new perks (Gunslinger, Assault Specialist, Sniper, Shotguneer, Med Lab, Enhanced Medkits)
- Added a slippery ice terrain to survival mode.
- Added 2 new pickups to survival mode: XP Boost, and Score Boost.
- Enemies now move more slowly when seriously wounded.
- Active Reload perk now uses the fire button to speed up the reloading process.
- Colonist reinforcements and turrets now spawn a short distance from the player in survival, to prevent them getting in the way when you are being chased by a ravenous swarm of infected.
Fixes
- Issue with enemies not rendering and becoming stuck when large numbers of enemies on screen in survival mode resolved.
- Issue with turrets shooting cut scene enemies in Day 49 resolved.
- Pistol no longer fully reload when switching away from them during a reload.
