Battles in Death or Glory are getting a "facelift" with new and dynamic user interfaces that capture the depth of our Asymmetric Combat System! Every class in the game has gone through a visual redesign to bring to you an immersive experience and a fresh take on the genre. This is our biggest update yet!

Redeye is the first character to get this dynamic upgrade and we got 2 brand-new cards to go with it, for more synergy and explosive power!
Play Silent Stalking preemptively to easily build up your bloodlust, its incredible speed will give your opponent a hard time trying to react. Wounded Predator is Redeye’s most powerful base damage card that will be sure to break through defenses and heavily wound your prey. Both cards synergize well with the existing deck to create exciting combos and situations that will bring you even closer to the ultimate Glory!

We made changes to the structure of the Arena Game Mode so players can earn rewards as they complete new arenas. There will now be different themes for each dungeon and we will continue to add more interesting rules and challenges, look forward to them in each update!

The combat experience of Death or Glory is getting a massive upgrade as we are now customizing every UI design to fit each class archetype. Monsters will have large gashes of claws and raging fire then they unleash, dynamically responding to how you play the game. The card play experience is also enhanced as we have now implemented new sequences that highlight the stunning card art in play. These new changes are sure to create new memories and moments in your journey to Glory!

Welcome to our first monthly Discord Battle Pass challenges!
Take part in the following missions, and you might win glorious prizes:
I - Don’t Lose Your Heart Challenge ❤️
Your first mission is to get as far as you can in the Arena without losing your first health level! Record your Arena gameplay session and submit it on the channel #dont-lose-your-♥ over our Discord server following the rules explained further below.
II - Card Hunt Challenge 🃏
As for your second mission, you should find the 🃏 hidden on the server (on channels’ names or descriptions), and submit a screenshot of it following the rules below. Get the @Card Hunter role on our Discord server to be notified when the hunt periods begin. They will be announced once per week, at random dates and times.
Rules 📜
Don’t Lose Your Heart:
Submit your runs as Google Drive links on #dont-lose-your-♥;
Your runs should be Arena gameplay videos recorded by yourself and uploaded to your personal Google Drive account;
You can submit more than one run, as long as you post any additional ones as replies on a thread starting with your first one. Posting runs out of your thread will cause disqualification;
Draws will be resolved by gameplay time, where the shortest will be the winner;
Messages that aren’t submissions or off-topic conversations out of the submission threads on #dont-lose-your-♥ will be deleted and, their senders warned and/or disqualified upon repeated violation of this rule;
The submission deadline is October 31st, 1 PM EST (or 12 PM CST).
Card Hunt:
Submit your screenshots on the channel #card-hunt;
Screenshots sent before the start announcement will be disqualified, as well as the participant who sent them;
In case there's a draw on the time a certain screenshot is sent, the Community Manager will resolve it by rolling a virtual die;
The submission deadline is the end of every week, by Saturdays at midnight CST.

Don’t Lose Your Heart: First place:
Suggest a Halloween skin for a card and a Halloween costume for one of the player characters! We will add those to the game after launch. You will be credited for them and get them for free;
2x XP boost for one week for all your class members;
5000 XP;
3 unlock tokens.
Second place:
1.5x XP boost for one week for all your class members;
2500 XP;
2 unlock tokens.
Third place:
1.25x XP boost for one week for all your class members;
1250 XP;
1 unlock token.
Card Hunt:
First place: 1000 XP;
Second place: 500 XP;
Third place: 250 XP.
+1000 XP to whoever finds the highest amount of cards during the month.
Also, upon the game’s full launch, special rewards will be granted to the members of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes who succeed in the highest amount of Battle Passes.

5 playable characters: enter Redeye, the Monster; Crystal, the Spellslinger; A.T.A.C.R, the Techie; and Tori, the Evangelist! Alongside the Warrior Lee, they make the roster of characters that you can choose from to join your fight. Which one will be the first?
Character progression: upgrade your characters to the max! Each one of them has 5 levels to advance, and best of all: rewards upon leveling up! Including bonus cards, character objectives (that once completed will help you unlock new characters), and character-specific cosmetic upgrades.
Unlock Tokens: it’s our gift for you when your first log in! Use them to unlock more characters, and get more by completing objectives. The more you play, the easier it gets to try out more characters!
Character Missions: 5 characters, 5 stories to explore. Unravel their lore under special rules and gameplay elements that flash out the many possibilities Death or Glory has in store!
Arena game mode: no easy mode! Engage in battles with increasing difficulties, complete Arena Objectives, and earn Honor Tokens! A set of 15 opponents are ready to challenge you, and each won round takes you closer to the final boss.

He revels in fire, blood, and chaos with his superbike. Everywhere he goes, destruction follows. Emberfist, the Minotaur: What if rage begets violence? What if violence begets rage? What if these emotions can manifest physically? A word of caution: don't make him angry!

Welcome Champions!
We have been working hard in the arena continuing to get things ready for the battle ahead. Much like our last update, we just wanted to share with you more of what's been happening behind the scenes to make our game the best experience for you!
Let’s get into the details!
Tutorial
We’ve created a proper tutorial to induct new players both into the game’s systems and story.
We’ve created 3 main levels for all classes to play in addition to 5 for each playable class.
Started pre-production on our Teaser Trailer, the script has been finalized and we are now moving on to asset creation such as sound and graphics.
Demo
The assembly of an updated Demo to show off a vertical slice of Death or Glory’s gameplay.
Internal discussions took place to decide on what we wanted to include in the demo that would best showcase our game’s systems as a dueling card game, along with the flexibility that each Champion allows.
The demo was finalized and launched recently to Steam, itch.io, and Gamejolt.
Prepped stream VODS and gameplay videos to go on the Steam page.
Combat Preview System
In the heat of battle, being nimble is crucial! As such, we added a combat preview system. It informs players of the consequences of their decisions with highlighted animations, and hints. Playable cards will now have an active aura surrounding them, and their colors will change depending on the context of the situation. May it be an attack or a reaction, this visual assist will free up more of your strategist neurons.
Bonus Cards
Looking to spice up your playstyle? Have a taste of the newly added Bonus Cards! You can naturally obtain them through character progression, and they can change up the way a character plays and feels. At times, one Bonus Card can even become the centerpiece of a deck! It may be a single feature, but it provides many more strategy possibilities for you, Champions.
Art Assets
As an essential feature of any card game, we’ve taken great care in creating our TCG art.
Finished all Art Assets for all the cards in the game.
Started working on the graphics for rewards, shops, etc.

New Demo is out now!
We have a big announcement to share with you all today...
We have released a new demo for Death or Glory!
We have updated some features, and made some tweaks to the overall gameplay. A couple core features being:
- A Tutorial has been added
- Difficulty has been adjusted
- Added a discord button on the home screen
- Enemies have changed from the last build
- Start screen has been redone with new graphics
- New screens added for "Next Enemy" screen.
