Friday the 20th we will release the 1.10 version of Death Skid Marks.
This version will feature our first new content patch.
This will include:
A new kind of weapons called the super weapons. There are 8 of those, 4 melee and 4 ranged. Those are pretty unique, exotic, expensive and, most of all, deadly.
The player will be able to buy those at special shops.
The ai, unfortunately for you all, will be able to use those as well. However only one type of enemy will wield those: the geeks.
The geeks can appear in regular cars or can attack you by themselves, in which case they are as deadly as the groupies.
We have also included a new type of mini game which will spice things up even more with total randomization.
The number of bumper stickers have doubled.
And finally, we have included some tiny requests and bug fixes.

Version 1.04
Hi,
Here is the changelist for the version 1.04:

- Key-bindings (Option/Rebind Keyboard)
- Alien Car: Faster but less damage.
- Remove auto-control for Gamepad.
- Bad ending doesn't make car have "complete" sign. Now all endings unlock "complete" sign.

Version 1.03 (Update)

Here is the changelist from versions 1.01-1.03:

[Bugs fixed]
- Bumper Sticker: Lost money when you go back to the main menu.
- Shield Car: Drain money after the level is over (panels) and you pressed mouse button.
- Hiker duplicates (except for the horsemask "fallback").
- Ambulance/Truck lose their invincibility (rear part) after healing.
- Game won't start: Email us or use the "Bug reporting forum" if you still get this one.
Some people didn't get the sound (only the music/voice). So we did some modification on the sound engine and this version should fix the problem.
If you still get the same problem, try to disable the stereo options in the Option Menu.

Last good news before launch!
We have added a mad science lab.
The lab is a place where you can drop one of you buddies. You then decide for how many levels (road segments) he is experimented upon, the longer you leave him there, the higher are your chances that he'll get nice results.
After this duration you can pick him up and then you have a description of the experiments performed and the results.
So along with the workshop, this is a good way to give you an edge if fortune does not favor you with good weapons, tasks or items.
Those last additions were actually ideas that we had a while back and that we did not think would make it in the game prior to launch due to time. The good news is that they're in now. The bad news is that our list of ideas is complete for now and that nothing else will be added before launch.

You place a weapon in a slot and sacrifice other weapons to give it bonuses. I bet that you would like that...
Well it's going to be in at release.
New content before release.
Well well... it seems that semi-trucks will be populating route 666 at launch after all.
As all the cars they come in different flavors. You will also be able to blow up their trailers separately. As far as difficulty goes, they offer a nice change of pace but they're far from being bad news. They fit right in with what we already have.
There is a good chance that this won't be the last good news before the 21st.
