New version v1.2!

This version features a new hard mode which has some exclusive features! This was a suggestion from you beautiful guys. There are two new collectibles exclusive to this mode.

Blue Gem -> Worth 1000points, great at beating that hi-score!


Mines -> Avoid these or you will blow-up!


In hard mode the enemies now respawn faster and bosses are tougher, also you will get an extra life every 10,000points. The 2ply normal and hard mode, now also have mines, but remember death can use his shield to catch falling power-ups!

New version v1.1!

v1.1 - Arcade version

This version allows you to play just the 'breakout' style levels in single player, useful for when you're hunting the soul achievements or if you just want to quick play, without the walking areas.



v1.1 - Slowball fix

Fixed a bug where slowball was active all the time, slowball is on a timer again.



v1.1 - User bug fix

Fixed this level as the ball was getting trapped, user feedback.



Next update->

A : New ending scene, with additional graphics....
B : Red diamonds drops for normal mode, gives 500 points,
C : Blue diamonds drops for Hard mode gives 1000 points,

Another day another update, Wheel of death fix!

The wheel of Death should work fine now with controllers, I also fixed the dracula door where you enter souls, to support controllers.



The analog stick for the controller should be slightly more precise now aswell!

Another day another update, User feedback #3!

I've implemented some more of your feedback!

1: The controller now works as expected on the menu's and in the puzzle areas,



2 : Added skip cutscene options and help text,



3 : I've reverted the ball speed back to older versions for all dificulties,

Another day another update, User feedback #2!

After watching some recent youtube videos, the game is now 20% easier. Basically the enemy respawn rate is reduced, and the ball speed is slightly slower. I think the balance is about right now, but let me know.



I've also added more 'Oomph' for when you collect a power-up! This was also a user feedback request.

Another day another update, Improved controls!

The contoller works much better now, you can change your thumbstick deadzone in the controller options. The deadzone is how loose your analog stick is, setting it high will fix very loose sticks, setting it low is for newer controllers. (This also prevents the cursor flying off the screen issues)



There's now a dedicated button for using a power-up, this means you can use slow-down at all times, this was a request from a number of users.



CONTROLLER

Left Trigger - Slow down the bat,
Right Trigger - Speed-up the bat,
A Button - Slow ball,
B Button - Fast ball,
X Button - Use power-up,
Y Button - Switch power-up,

MOUSE

LMB - Slow ball,
RMB - Fast ball,
SPACE BAR - Use power-up,
Mouse Wheel - Switch power-up,

I've also fixed all bugs and memory leaks, so there shouldn't be any issues,

Another day another update, Unique continue screens!

I've added unique continue screens for every area, it should add abit to replayability and expands on the characters development. it should also add more humor to offset the darker horror content.

Another day another update, Youtube feedback #1!

I've implemented some changes based on recent youtube videos, basically dealing with areas where players were getting stuck or things weren't as obvious as they needed to be.



1 : Made alterations to start intro and start area,
2 : The game now starts with 1 extra life for all modes,
3 : Made catacombs puzzle area easier,

Starting the game with four lives and retrying an area with four lives balances better I find. Using wheel of fortune will start with three lives plus the power-up. Overall the game is slightly easier, but as usual let me know on the forums.
