A new update has just been released for Decline's Drops! At first, I planned to wait for the next major content update before releasing a new patch, but some bugs were reported that required immediate attention, mainly: 1. Custom commands were not properly configured and could trap the player in the options menu. 2. An item (the Shiny Shiny Phial) in Serge's shop could not be unlocked, preventing players from achieving 100% completion.
These frustrating bugs have now been fixed, so you should be able to enjoy the game as intended without any issues! Game performance has also been improved, especially in Time Trial mode.

As for the next major content update, progress is going well, although I can't provide a precise release date yet. Don't forget to join the game's Discord if you want to stay updated on upcoming updates!

Hello everyone!
Another minor bug fixing update which hopefully will solve a few issues. Here's the full patch note:
Patch Notes V.1.1.5:
A bug which prevented players to load files correcly should now be fixed
Fixed a bug where the laser beam sound would play infinitely without stopping
Changed the way elements of the 2nd and 6th boss battles are loaded
Various Bug/Display issues fixed

Hello everyone!
Here's a simple small update which should fix a few bugs. Here's the full patch note:
Patch Notes V.1.1.4:
Defeating a Boss while in Time Attack Mode now directs instantly to the WorldMap
Dev time is now only displayed if Gold Time has been defeated
Fixed a bug where the Serge Shop would not display texts correctly
Game & What: The eye is now slower while in its last position
Game & What: Time is now slightly slowed down each time the boss is defeated
Game shouldn't lag more and more when restarting a level on Time Attack Mode
Globule shouldn't be trapped in a "punching" state anymore
Gold Time is now displayed correctly
Improved performance during Sucidem Boss Battle
Score for Survival Mode is now saved
Sucidem is now easier to stun while in second phase
Text and Time in Time Attack Mode is now displayed higher
The first major update of Decline's Drops is finally here! As promised, it brings the Boss Rush Mode, Time-Attack with GHOSTS, your own but also the Dev Ghosts - that means those are my ghosts. That's me playing. I'm quite bad at my own game, you'll see. But if you beat all of them, you'll get a special reward, isn't that great? Spoiler alert: it's another new Mode! There's also another bonus you get for beating the Boss Rush Mode, in fact, there are new bonuses everywhere! You'll also get two new objects available at Serge's Shop, unlockable once specific requirements are fulfilled, and also many quality of life improvements, bug fixes, new options, new buttons! I also made sure to include lots of new option regarding the smash attacks, so for example you can now disable the Smash attacks by pressing a direction and the normal attack button, or use the right stick to launch them. In any case, please take a look at the full Patch Notes to see what's new!
To celebrate and also as part of the Steam Winter Sales, Decline's Drops is 30% off until January 2nd!
It was a ton of fun making this new update and I hope you will enjoy the new content. But, as you probably now, this is not over yet, I still have a looot more to bring to the world of Decline's Drops, and the next update will be quite big, so it will probably take more time to be done.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT STEAM CLOUD SUPPORT
Hello everyone!
Today I am very happy to announce you that Decline's Drops now support Steam Cloud saving! This has been asked multiple times and, as someone who plays/tests my own game multiple times both on PC and Steam Deck, this was quite required to say the least.
However, I've been forced to make a few changes in order to make this work. As a result, if you already play the game on two different platforms (like I do), I recommend you follow the following steps:
Go into your Local App Data and look for a folder named "D_D_21".
Copy what's inside this folder and save it somewhere else, just in case.
Uninstall/Reinstall Decline's Drops.
Launch the game again.
If everything works fine your files should be saved and loaded as intended. Note that these steps are just a recommendation . If everything works fine without touching anything, well, don't change anything!

Yup. This is far from over. Within the following months, free content updates will come to Decline's Drops! I hope you're all as excited as I am for what's to come! I will have lots of fun creating and adding all of this content. And yes, it is all free content. No paid DLCs in my home, that's the rule (I want to remain poor).
I want to thank you for your incredible support during these two first weeks. The reception of the game has been really positive. Decline's Drops being my first project, my first game, I'm really grateful to you for your trust, it brings me lots of motivation. Thank you so much!

It's been a long, long road, and it's quite incredible to finally reach the finish line. I hope you will enjoy what we've been working on for all these years (5 years, wow, that's a lot.), I'm so excited!
