A demonspawn we know from before has participated in capturing some humans and keeps them trapped. He urges them to fight among themselves. Your character (with a customizable name) can start a romance with one of two male captives who may or may not be bad guys... And more.

Demonheart: The Cursed Trial - Final chapter released!
The game now has 7 endings reachable from the last chapter, in addition to a couple of "bad endings" it had before.
The total word count is now over 160.000 words, making it my longest VN so far. ːdazed_yetiː
Plans for the future involve implementing partial voice acting and making a Mac OS version of the Cursed Trial, as well as planning a new potential game in this universe. ːhappy_yetiː
A certain player choice will branch the story, the characters will say some different things as a consequence of previous choices, and there will be multiple endings. Because of this, the last chapter has a much higher word count, so there is more content to polish than in the previous chapters. We have yet to see how it will affect the actual play time.
I am currently editing the script, adding smaller player choices. The major ones are already implemented. While I shared some early screenshots before, my priority right now is to polish up the script before setting up all the visuals.
The aim is to add Chapter 7 to the game in the second half of March. It will remain in early access for a little while after that, to make sure there aren't any oversights. Also, after the last chapter is published, I will start looking for voice actors and directing them to implement partial voice acting.

Devlog - Demonheart: The Cursed Trial, Chapter 7
Hello, demonhearts and VN enjoyers!
Since the update which added Chapter 6 to Demonheart: The Cursed Trial, I have been working on the text for the remaining, final chapter.
So far, I've finished the first version of "Kaisar's route," which still needs some player choices. I also need to set up all the backgrounds and character sprites to appear when needed. Then I will be able to test and polish this content.

My latest project in the Demonheart world just got a major update!
With around 21.900 words of new content, this takes the game over 133.000 words - my longest game so far.
The story continues, with only one more chapter left to go (which will have multiple endings.)

I've finished the first version of the textual content for Chapter 6, and a new CG with Kaisar is also ready.
Some of the mysteries are finally going to be revealed in this chapter, with some remaining for the seventh, last one. There is going to be a big choice concerning Ran. Another choice will be about Kaisar, possibly only available if you have a certain type of relationship with him.
I was also replaying the Cursed Trial from the start and made changes to many lines, and also added a few special lines in case you named your protagonist Bright.
Next, I will start testing Chapter 6 to edit and polish the content and write any missing choices. The plan is to have it added to the game in mid- to late September.
