Good news for Demonstier! PLUS version! Finally, a great update now comes to the game, after a while without updating. It is a great update, with many changes and important additions in the game. This great patch would never have existed if it wasn't for my friend Fabrice Breton of the COWCAT company, who programmed all these changes and added many good ideas. The update is now available and I will show some of those changes along with the full patch note
-New minimap and other search aids -Redesign of some enemies and new AI -Traps, new effect of darkness and much more.
The complete change log:
* Ability to skip each dialog message in cutscenes * Added volume sliders for sound and music * Tweaked the controls with lower deadzone and more analogue movement * Changed keyboard bindings so it's more simple for newcomers (eg ESC and arrow keys for options menu/redefine, ENTER to accept...) * New option screen on START pause : current goal, stats and a basic map of the generated dungeon * Default HUD is now lighter (less info displayed) but it's still possible to choose the original ones in options * Map shows location of player and reaper, as well as the locations we've already visited
* Totally revamped two-players coop : * Allows both players to select any character * Allows player 2 to buy in shop and select a weapon * Player 1 and 2 can now be revived by shooting on the respective tombs (which becomes progressively harder) with 30% health. If both players die, the game is over. * Player 2 sprite character has different colors * Player 1 and 2 are clearly indicated * Camera improvement * A bit more monsters in coop
* The two characters which were specific to Player 2 (Valkyie and Warrior) are now characters to unlock (including for single player mode) * Improved translations * Improved "darkness effect" like Riddled Corpses EX * Ring and stats menus can now be controlled with analogue stick * Added a message for the player after first death to explain the mechanics better * New traps : spikes and lava * Title screen : you can now press A to enter the game or Y to switch languages * Increased "skip scene" button speed * Improved collision to enter the cave / shops * More permissive small enemies collisions * Crystals start disappearing from further away * "Special" enemies are now more threatening + do not require to kill all enemies to appear * Mission line is now displayed a bit above the far bottom of screen * When player is hurt, amount of HP lost is displayed * Stats menu now use SELECT instead of START, so that START is now a full-fledge pause menu with info (different in town and dungeons) * Building dungeons is faster * Press L to add an arrow indicating the next objective. (closest if several) This uses the green meter. * Revamped options menu with sound and music volume * Clarified the various stats names * MP Green bar fills faster by default. Also tweaked the level up for the MP green bar to be more progressive. * D-Tokens are now blue to avoid confusion with gold * D-Tokens obtained are indicated in the top left of the HUD when defeating monsters (+ combos) * Language choice is now saved * Optimised performance * Fixed the graphical glitch with bottom tiles * Improved level generation (no item/enemy spawn in awkward places) * Revamped enemy movement - they don't bounce on walls anymore * More varied enemies AI * Giving money to buy weapons is now shorter for the more expensive ones * After boss fights, the reaper now disappears after player exits the room * Boss chests now award only recipes for weapons of the character we're using + the best weapons can be unlocked even in tier 1 (although rare) The deeper we go, the more chance we get a great weapon. * Recipes are permanently acquired even after death * The shop opens as soon as we've descended into the hole once. Defeating the first boss always gives a recipe and opens the blacksmith area. * Fixed bug that enemies would still hurt the player even after staying away from them * Bats enemies can cross walls * Maspeed is now limited * Clarified speed and MP stats (the higher the value the better) * Regular chests can now give some HP (the deeper level we are, the more chance to obtain one) * Using the shield power now reduces damage by 2 (instead of changing the defense variable) and is no longer immune to certain shots * Wizard power effect and collision improved * Enemies now fade out when dead * Demonic eye now has closed and open eyes states, and can only shoot when the eye is open * The number of D-Token collected now varies according to tier and dungeon level * Weapons stats weren't added to the stats indicated in town * Changed shop prices * Location of player tomb (and number of D-Tokens lost) is now saved * Exit, big chests and secret enemy locations is now correctly randomized * We can slightly push back the reaper by shooting on it * Defense stat management improved (having a high defense no longer results in constant "missed!") * Improved followers movements * Added support for non-Xinput (DirectInput) controllers * Wheel ring and runes interface always appear fully on screen even if we're on the edge of the room * New health interface management * The jail prisoners to save are now randomized * When the reaper is there, icon shows that skills are disabled * Potions can now only be used when HP is below max * Enemies and items no longer spawn near the entrance * It is no longer possible to spend gold to upgrade HP when we already have the maximum possible.

Demon's Tier Version 1.0.6!
Small update with some changes requested by the players (from the improvement thread).
Fixed some important things in the gameplay, related to the visibility and difficulty of escaping the reaper.
- Now when the objects, enemies or the player, approaches the lamps/crystals, this disappear.
- Fixed a problem with the achievement of obtaining the first weapon.
- Added a magnetic effect on items that we can collect from enemies, boxes or chests.
- Now when die bosses , the items droped will appear in the center of place.
- Added a strange fog when the time of The Reaper finish, will appear in the central area of the map, when your time ends the reaper will emerge from it.
- Added a new hud, smaller with the information of the dungeon.
- Added a option to change the type of hud you want.

-The Reaper, now deals damage by just touching it and after a while its speed will be doubled.
-The Reaper appears after killing any boss, you will have little time to collect your rewards.
-The last boss is now a little easier in tier 1.
-Fixed an error in one of the final bosses.

-Added a blocking state, which makes it impossible to use the ability when the reaper appears.

Hello,this little patch fixes some bugs and improves gameplay.
-Lower intensity fire from the third level
-increase the visibility of enemy fire arrows of the third level.
-deleted a green effect that appeared in the skills menu. (after lowering a level)
-Now you can give money to the blacksmith with the keyboard without having to press many times.
-now you get 10 magic rope after the tavern scene (at the beginning of the game)

Demon's Tier is now available!!
Today finally the Demon's Tier is released, I hope you guys enjoy this game as much as my previous games.
I have added a steam special thread for improvements and suggestions (steam forum) I will be attentive to any comments and reviews of the game.
I would like to comment on some things about the control of the game.
In Demon's Tier it is possible to play with keyboard + mouse or gamepad very well, I recommend using gamepad (original xbox gamepad).
When pressing start or enter you will choose a control type, the keyboard controls at the beginning are these.
With the mouse you can shoot and aim at enemies, also use skills, open chests etc...
You can change it later in options (in the town) and modify the keys.
I would also like to comment that in the village you can do everything, look at the guide, check the options menu, change characters, change weapons and buy them, visit the object store or enter the dungeons. Even to get out of the game, you just have to leave town.
I recommend having many magic rope, you will need it to escape the dungeons and save your D-Tokens.
Before going down the hole, check to have your magic rope.
If you do not have one, you can get one for free in the chest that is in town.
You get D-Tokens killing enemies.

Hello, my name is Daniel, the creator of Riddled Corpses , Xenon Valkyrie & other mobile games, finally i have finished Demonstier.
I apologize for the lateness in reply & not commenting much about the game in a while, it's difficult to make a game alone & have the intent of always making it better.
This game should have released in early 2018, but kept getting backtracked by updates to xenon valkyrie, console versions of my other games & problems away from videogames.
I have added a ton to Demonstier since first showing it, most importantly is a 2 Player Mode & a small history of the events of the game.
Also has a ring based menu, a new death based system ( similar to dark souls ) where you can retrieve your inventory once destryoing your own grave & many more surprises.
The game has a variety of playable elements that make it truly unique, unimaginable but possible in developing as an indie.
The price of the game is $ 9.99, but it has a launch discount.
I would love to keep updating after launching the game, things i have in mind & all the good things reported by players.
Demonstier will launch finally in February 8, 2019 .
