1.1.0 - The Kindred Fire Release!
Smoke rises on the horizon—the free Kindred Fire update has arrived!
Lord Merick Farrow has begun his rampage, and only you can stop him. Embark on this new, free campaign, enjoying the other updates and improvements to Road to Legend as you hunt down the mad mage and encounter his many allies.
Unlocking Kindred Fire adds the following to the app:
The first full-length campaign.
Eight story quests.
Two side quests.
New perils and travel events.
The following are additional updates and corrections:
Six additional side quests will appear in any full-length campaign.
Six bonus quests. Each of these quests is unlocked by including the corresponding box expansion in your collection. These quests appear as side quests in any full-length campaign.
Created two levels of difficulty: normal and hard.
Normal difficulty gives players additional gold at the start of the campaign.
Hard difficulty progress peril at a slightly faster rate than the Normal difficulty.
Added a “Surrender” button to the options menu during quests. Selecting this button forces the heroes to lose the quest and returns them to the campaign map.
Updated Tamalir’s City Action. Multiple heroes can increase their XP at once, and the cost is per hero selected.
Adjusted the difficulty of all quests. Peril events take longer to trigger, and heroes receive a bit of a respite from new perils when entering the climax of a quest.
Decreased the difficulty of most minor perils.
“Deadly Peril: Tendrils of Darkness” now affects the heroes collectively instead of each hero equally.
Corrected travel events that were appearing at the wrong time.
The game saves each time an item is bought or sold in the city.
Various small corrections to monster activations and monster group clarifications.
Overriding a saved game with a new party the same name now resets that save game slot. Previously, some information persisted into the new campaign.
