Once Ever After features many of the same writing and gameplay elements as DoW, but it's a longer and more polished game. Also, this time all of the scene art is 100% drawn by Crescentia, and there's a whole lot of it! Please consider taking a look. ^-^

Full Resolution Art Package
I'm glad that there are still some people playing and enjoying this game! One of the main requests I hear from people is that they'd like to be able to buy the scenes at their full resolution, instead of just seeing them in the game window.

So I've taken some time to put together an art package with all the scenes at high resolution, the full character profiles, and a few other goodies. I was originally looking to sell it as DLC on Steam, but that proved to be trickier than expected.

Instead I'm making it available DRM-free via my Patreon page. If you were a $10 backer in the past, or make a $10 donation now, you can automatically download the whole image pack here:

Trading Cards!
Several days ago, Valve allowed us to submit trading cards for Desecration of Wings. After going back and forth a couple of times, the cards were approved! They include the usual emotes and backgrounds, as well as character concept art that has never been seen before.

Note that you should receive drops for time already played. For most of you, that should mean that you receive the whole set of cards immediately.

Steam has just launched an open beta for creator homepages, which I think is definitely a good thing. Before, it was necessary to use game page updates to talk about new games, which never felt quite right to me. Now, if you are interested in following me as a creator, there's a centralized location!

DoW 1.0.4 + Issues
Hello, everyone! We've uploaded another version that we hope will make the game a smoother experience for new players. If you've played in the past, we're hopeful that your saves should still be 100% compatible - but do report if you experience any issues.

I want to thank everyone for their messages of concern regarding the removal of games on Steam. To answer your questions: no, I have not received any messages threatening removal of Desecration of Wings. Though it is no guarantee, we went back and forth with Steam multiple times before this game was manually approved. We have always made every effort to comply with Steam policies and the plan is still to go forward with the Steam release of Ouroboros.

Finally, two new files have been added to the walkthrough thread in the forum. A few users have had problems getting stuck in the dark ruins or a certain town event. The files are standalone versions that should be able to rescue any save - if you haven't had issues, you can ignore them.

1.0.3 + Trending!
The game has been trending on Steam for some regions, and we've received a huge amount of feedback. We're glad that so many people are enjoying the game!

Though there have been fewer bug reports than expected, we recently put out version 1.0.3. This fixes a few minor bugs and one that unfortunately prevented some players from being able to pass the Dark Ruins. Depending on how stuck you were, you may need to uninstall the game first - see the forums for instructions and help.

For most players, this should make no difference, but hopefully it will be a quality of life improvement for a few. I hope everyone keeps enjoying the game! ^-^
