Leaderboards Added to All Courses
Leaderboards have been extended to all courses and are no longer limited to top speed shootouts. This is a "best lap time" system. On courses that are not top speed shootout circuits, the following information is displayed every lap:

1) Current lap time
2) Best lap of session
3) Your rank relative to the world record lap
4) Your all time personal best lap
5) The world record lap

All of the information is refreshed every lap, so it's possible that your rank and the world record will change from one lap to the next even without restarting the time trial.

New patch: Tooltips
A new patch has been posted which adds tooltips to the design screen. Simply mouse over the +/- buttons and a description of each entry will be displayed.

Also fixed a leaderboard glitch caused by long names.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Fix
Most +/- buttons in the design screen including the lap count buttons are now repeatable. Left click and hold for 0.25 seconds to change numbers continuously.

First patches posted
The first simulator updates have been posted since Steam release yesterday.

-The simulator now defaults new players to the top speed shootouts when they first "drive it." Yesterday (launch day) there weren't very many people running in the top speed shootout, probably because they weren't aware of its existence. It takes a little navigation to get there. If you bought it yesterday or today before this patch and don't know how to compete in the shootouts yet, try this:

-A normal map (bump map) has been added to the boat's surface material and the reflectivity has been adjusted. The effect is subtle, but it should hopefully give a slight improvement to the appearance of the boats.
