You won't believe it, but we have a new language! Say thanks to the puny human Thiago "Thitz" Mania, before he dies in the running wheel. If you find mistakes in the translation, please report them in the comments!
It's insane! More translations!
It's hard to believe, but Despotism got two more languages again. Japanese and... Belarusian! All hail Arui Kashiwagi, Уладзімір "Квадрат" Герасімёнак and Ганна Снежань. Please write us a comment, if you find any mistakes. If you don't - write anyway, we keep track of the puny humans!
The latest build is also notarized for MacOS Catalina.
More translations
Hello again, puny humans! We just uploaded translations into Korean and Spanish languages! Medals for services to the 3k-land are awarded to Ira Ivanova, Lidia Arroyo and Jun Beom Park. World domination is getting closer! If you find mistakes in the translation, please report them in the comments. Thank you!
New translations
Hello, puny humans!
We now support the Chinese and German languages. All hail the great d'Spot and his new servants - Jorji and Zesc. We are one step closer to the world domination!
If you find mistakes in the translation, please report them in the comments.
A small update!
Adds a new chip - "Chip of Boredom". Please note, it is extremely boring
Adds a new random event with a new modifier
Adds notifications for unlocking new chips
Adds "Credits" screen
Also some small balance changes:
Sick humans (as a result of "Unhygienic Conditions") work 7% less effective instead of 13%
An attempt to spin the wheel faster in "Brass Monkey Weather" uses only 10% of energy. It is still a bad idea
When junior slave Ben gets splattered all over the wheel, its effectiveness is 13% less instead of 17%
A spoke in the wheel reduces power generation by 10% instead of 15%
Fat humans now correctly produce twice more food
If you punish the humans for stealing a jar of battery fluid, 5 humans are sent to the bioreactor instead of 8
Despair generator now uses 10% additional energy instead of 15%
The second campaign is here!
"Prepare for the raid, puny humans!"
Hello everyone!
We launched the second campaign today, and it is absolutely unlike the first one. It doesn't just contain a new story and several new dialogs, but also a totally new "raid" mechanic in addition to the game you already know. Send your humans on expeditions around a procedurally generated map and earn resources without any limits. Come on, you have to find the Time Machine lost in the wastelands of 3k-land!
Microchipping the population
"Prepare to receive your chip implants, puny humans!"
Hello everyone!
We are still working on the second campaign, but in the meantime we launched an update with a new "chip" mechanic and several other improvements.
Chips are various combinations of starting game conditions, which change campaign or endless mode gameplay in some way. Some chips add modifiers and change balance at the start, some just affect difficulty - choose one for yourself! One chip even modifies manipulation so that the most exhausted humans are sent to the bioreactor - many of you asked for this.
Other changes:
Several new dialogs and modifiers added
Any choices in dialogs that you previously tried are marked with an orange dot
A resource counter blinks more noticeably when you try to produce that resource over the limit
You may speed up the game at any time
Endless mode is harder (we underestimated you!)
4 digit food limit on high food generator levels
Ability to start again from the loss screen
A new achievement for finishing the campaign with "Hardcore" chip
Special humans' healthbars are marked
Holding a human manipulation button allows to send several humans at once
It is possible to play with a keyboard: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1595842627
