Who would have thought… we are doing a Reddit AMA about Detective Case and Clown Bot games, as well as overall Nerd Monkeys’ related stuff.
This feels a little bit weird because we’re so used to answering questions nobody asked us that usually escalates to security “inviting us” to leave the premises. This might actually be an interesting first! Are you as excited as we are? Can you ask us important and relevant questions or will we be bored to death?
The link to access it will be ama.nerdmonkeys.pt but it only becomes accessible 30 minutes before it starts. However, you can and should visit it so you can add it to your calendar. ;)
We are counting on the community to receive lots of interesting questions… and please… pleaaaaase don’t ask us where all the teeth are.

Synopsy:
Someone has been killing passengers on the express train from Lisbon to Porto, every single day since Tuesday! Someone needs to stop the killer! Detective Case and Clown Bot to the rescue! Time to gather clues, solve puzzles, succeed trials, and find the culprit before the final station!

Update 1.07 is UP!
The 1.07 update is up! Just in time for the launch of the Express Killer.
Here are 3 of main things we did to our 4 year old game:
Controller support
You can now use a controller! Weird, right? After all, this is a "point'n'click" game, what happens when we ad controller support? I tell you what, nothing happens. It's just controller support! :)
New engine
The Express Killer is built on GMS 2.0 but Murder in the Hotel Lisbon is still in the old GMS 1.4 So we decided it would be great to push into the new one, this way we manage to keep up the support with newer chipsets and the game continues to run smoothly.
More bugs crushed
It sound weird but in the middle of all this we found more bugs! Amazing, right? Not really. We hate it. Specially me. I thought they were all squashed, but moving engines and adding controller support means new bugs. So, more play testing and more QA to get everything tight and nice. Oh well...
Anyway, have fun with the new version. It should feel like a slicker faster version of the original, perfect for speed runs... ;)

Incoming UPDATE 1.07 - new stuff!
We know most of you already finished the game and are eager to play the sequel, but this is quite an important update.
So, we grabbed all the work we were doing with the sequel and pushed it back into the original, not only because we care but also to keep everything up to parity with the features we are bringing into the sequel. This means new things for our 4 year old adventure.

A long held promise!
