Detective Hank gets updated today to version 1.12! Just in time for the weekend to enjoy all minor bugfixes.

Detective Hank in the week long deal!
Detective Hank is now part of Steam's week long deal. We do this to celebrate a long overdue update to v1.11 that fixes a couple of issues.



Go find out who stole the Golden Sneeze from the museum of Ancient History or bring the mad lad who ate your cookie to justice in v1.10's content update, "a Prelude to Tea."

The deal will be available from 4/27 to 5/4. Go get it now!

We’ve got extra content!
Detective Hank got an update today and it just got 10% bigger. Way back when I built Detective Hank, I made a prototype, called “A Prelude to Tea”. It was a fun little exercise in what would become “The Golden Sneeze.” It was available all over the web, except on Steam, but that’s changing right now!



The new adventure is available when you’ll start a new game. It’s a fun, short, little romp, so you won’t be able to save and mess up your Sneeze’s save file.

Today we launch the combo deal of Detective Hank together with BadLands RoadTrip. Although they might seem like completely different games, I made them both and if you like the writing of Detective Hank, you’ll most certainly like the writing of BadLands RoadTrip.

And with a new year come new year’s resolutions! As you might have known, we’re working on our next game, BadLands RoadTrip ( www.badlandsroadtrip.com ). The code for the Story Engine, used for Detective Hank, is also used in this new game and it has had a considerable amount of updates in the form of stability and efficiency.

As such, Hank will get an update soon! Once our new game is up and the new Story Engine is tried and true, we will update Detective Hank. The moment we have more, the place you’ll first hear from it will be here!

Detective Hank was a lot of fun to create, but it was meant for something bigger. Today we've launched the Kickstarter for our next game: BadLands RoadTrip, a physics gun, open world, action RPG.

It's the same humorous writing you know from Detective Hank, but with a physics gun RPG added to it. Also, all the story elements are handled by the story engine we built for Detective Hank.

V1.04 has achievements and trading cards!
The big update! Detective Hank and the Golden Sneeze has been updated to v1.04 with achievements and trading cards! You can now boast to your friends about catching any one of the suspects and completing the game, as well as finding small secrets in the story.

But that’s not all! Playing Detective Hank and the Golden Sneeze will now give you trading cards! You can collect a full set to create badges and gain emoticons and backgrounds for your Steam profile page. All these are hand-crafted by the awesome studio Enalya for your enjoyment.

Big update coming up!
Coming Friday, we will release the biggest update to Detective Hank as of yet, and still bump the version number by 0.01 to v1.04. It will feature the most requested update as of yet plus a couple of minor bugfixes.
