Shutting down "Augment Your Pre-Order"
Hi everyone! At both Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal, we’ve been listening to everything you’ve had to say about the Augment Your Pre-Order program. When it was first conceived, we wanted the program to give you more choice about what you received in terms of pre-order incentives - because we've seen in the past that when we choose those packages ourselves, and split them across regions, it has caused frustration. We quickly noticed that this approach created even more frustration than before, resulting in a resounding amount of negative feedback.
We’ve spent a lot of time reading through all of your comments, working to understand how we can try to make things right for you. After much thought and reflection, we decided to close down the program and make all of the incentive content available to anyone who pre-orders Deus Ex: Mankind Divided or purchases a Day 1 edition of the game. Additionally, the release date will no longer be changed in accordance with pre-order numbers, and everyone will gain access to the game on February 23rd, 2016.
Your feedback and input is of the utmost importance to us-- as it’s your loyalty and passion for our franchises that gives us the opportunity to continue providing you with great gaming experiences.
To our faithful fans who’ve already pre-ordered: we will be taking care of everything necessary to ensure that all of the changes to the program will be automatically applied to your purchase. Meanwhile, we'd like to thank everybody for their feedback - we know this wouldn't have happened with a game that nobody cared about, and we're just focusing now on delivering a game that lives up to your hopes and expectations.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is launching February 23rd, 2016!
Today, we’re very excited to announce that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be launching on PC on February 23rd, 2016!
The team has been working hard on the game, and even if its release is still a few months away, having a set date where we know you’ll get a chance to experience the game first hand is a huge motivation for all of us.
In the spirit of player choice, which is at the heart of Deus Ex, we’ve put together a special program called “Augment your Pre-order”. It will let you choose the digital pre-order bonuses you want to get for your Day One edition of the game, selected from five different tiers which will unlock progressively. You can of course take part in this program by pre-ordering the game through Steam.
The available rewards within each tier include in-game items packs, digital books and music expanding on the world of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and an extra in-game mission. The very last tier is one of a kind, as its reward will be an early release of the game, four days prior to its scheduled launch! If you want everything, we’ve also got your covered. The Collector’s Edition for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will include all the in-game content and rewards from Augment your Pre-order, as well as physical items, selected based on the thousands of votes you submitted to us during our community vote for this edition.
The aforementioned physical items include a 48-page artbook created in partnership with Titan Books, a 9" Adam Jensen figurine, a limited edition steelbook and, of course, the Day One edition of the game – which will all come in an exclusive packaging.
We can’t wait for you to experience Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. In the meantime, keep an eye out for more information and reveals in the coming months!
New Game+ coming to Mankind Divided (and other news!)

We're happy to confirm that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will include a New Game+ mode! Many of you have been requesting it, and we are taking the time to develop it this time around. We'll have more details on what NG+ will entail later on.
We've also unveiled recently a new character from the game: Jim Miller, director of Task Force 29, the counter-terrorism agency Adam Jensen is working for. He will be voiced by Vernon Wells, which you may know from Mad Max 2 or Commando (Let off some steam, Bennett!). More details on Jim Miller on our official website's character page.

Celebrating Deus Ex's 15th anniversary
15 years ago, the very first Deus Ex game was released on PC. To this day, it is still considered a classic and one of the most influential titles ever created.
To celebrate this anniversary, we have prepared a special four-episode documentary telling the genesis of the series, from the original Deus Ex to the upcoming Mankind Divided. Check out the first episode below, with original game creators Warren Spector, Chris Norden and Sheldon Pacotti!
