We've updated Diary of Lucie for the second time since the official release.
The direction of this update is to improve existing contents such as adding weapon storage boxes, improve automatic storage capabilities, and add Chinese translation.

1. Improvements to existing content



Weapon Storage Box


You can strengthen your weapons in various ways as you go into the second half,
Many people said that they were uncomfortable because they could only strengthen one weapon.
So later in the content, I added a weapon storage box that I can unlock from my inner mind.
Storage and arms changes can be carried out in Lucie's room, and up to three can be stored depending on the release stage.

Reorganization of the reinforcement system


So far, weapons have been strengthened indefinitely,
The automatic storage function allowed us to forcibly reroll weapons and accessories options.
Although it was judged that this was not a big problem for the game progression,
In preparation for not re-rolling, problems such as low compensation and relative deprivation occurred.

Therefore, it was changed so that it could not be rolled when strengthening weapons or accessories,
Instead, the higher the enhancement options, the more likely they are to have better options.
In addition, the weapon can be strengthened only up to the 99th round,
Accordingly, we controlled the physical strength and difficulty of the contents in the second half.

Weapon Changes


Now, the heart of the Golem, the first weapon does not appear in the inner mind.
There was a slight decrease in the consumption of charging stamina for the cane and hammer.
Additionally, the full stack of the hammer's passion will now have an amplification effect on the charging attack.

Change in difficulty


Easy mode is adjusted to significantly lower performance of the enemy compared to normal.
However, there was a problem that the enemy could not bear even if the item farming was well tightened in the second half.
- The physical defense of the enemy increases.
- Enemy's physical strength increases in the second half.

Hell Level has unconscionable capabilities and additional patterns as it is designed for later content.
However, we wanted to lower the durability in line with the improved weapon strengthening system.

- The enemy's maximum strength has decreased.
- Modified the delay between attack patterns slightly slower.


Add Chinese translation


Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese are now added to the translation language.
DLC will also be added to the translation language as soon as possible.


Fix other bugs


The part that was not translated into English has been modified.
Fixed a phenomenon where the first message asking you to type any key did not appear at the start of the game.

1. Added new final boss and ending


A new boss battle will now appear in the final stage.
When clearing the boss, a new ending scene, and ending credits have been added.

2. New Difficulty Hell mode added


Starting from version 3.0.0, a new difficulty level: Hell Mode is added.
In hell mode, all actions of enemies become faster, especially new patterns are added to most bosses.
You can earn more credits and farming opportunities as it is more difficult than the previous difficulty.

Even though Diary of Lucie was designed based on a hardcore game, there were many opinions that it was too easy going backwards.
So, if the difficulty that has been revealed so far was added after the developer cleared it, the developer put down all restrictions and conscience to the point that it was impossible to clear the hell difficulty level that was added this time.

The items below are changed to strengthen property damage with no duration limit.

- Donoot: HP recovery, critical hit increase
- Energy Drink: Immune to abnormal conditions, increase stamina

Skills


We want to increase the utilization of skills that are relatively less preferred.
- Heat Breath: Total magic damage increased.
- Ice Ball: Changed from the existing continuous firing method to a method that shoots a large amount of ice balls at once.
- Cold Breath: Total magic damage increased.
- Tornado: Increased the range at which enemies are drawn in.
- London Rondo: Removed 2 spins of level 3 talent and increased spin damage by 100%. No longer stops on cast
- Mana Staff: Changed the mana acquisition amount to increase in all levels.
- Acceleration: Mana consumption reduced by 1 -> Changed to decrease by 2.
- Massive Haste: Instead of increasing base mana cost to 2, now reduces cooldown by 30% starting at level 1.
- Alprazolam: Now, starting from level 1, the damage increase is changed to the boss.

There was a problem during the contract with the translation company, so we inevitably delayed the update.

Weapon



The ability of special effects given every 3, 6, and 9 stages of weapon reinforcement has been raised.
We tried to compensate for the lack of merit in strengthening existing weapons.

In addition, the reinforcement level of weapons acquired from the weapon box changes when the boss is cleared.

Link command


I changed the link command UI and operation method.
As it accounts for a large portion of the feedback, it is changed to be more intuitive than the existing method.
When using the keyboard and mouse, rotate the link command icon, and the menu opens with a click without having to select.
Even when using the controller, the menu opens at once by touching the stick at that angle without the need for rotation and selection buttons.
In addition, a drawing and achievement category has been added to the link command (the achievement will be added in the next update).


Steam Cloud Linkage Support


Steam cloud interworking function has been added when using the steam version.
Cloud save features are now available to link saves on other computers!
In addition, the achievement achievement function that applies to the account when obtaining the achievement is ready, but this will be added in the next update.


Shortening key.


I added the shortcut key below so that you can change it on the setting screen.
- Avoidance key.
- 1st to 4th skill keys.
(For those who changed the shortcut key, it will be reset after the update, so please reset it later.)


Controller


The default value of the link command menu has been changed from the existing Y button to the LB button for smooth operation.

The controller's skill switching method has been changed.
Previously: Choose left and right cross buttons.
After changing: Select the skills assigned to the four cross buttons.


Bug Fix


We fixed the problem of not being able to reflect the ghost's ammunition with a sword on the lava stage.
In the lava stage boss match, we modified the phenomenon that sometimes went out of the map when using the island skill.
I modified it so that link command can be called even when the inventory is open when using a mouse.
I modified the description of the dash, avoidance, and link command tutorial pages.
We modified the phenomenon that the indicator icon was not properly output in the tutorial forest.
I modified the tutorial forest to correspond to both the changed key and the controller key.
When using a controller, modify the skill so that the skill does not change when the direction key is pressed in the minimap or inventory.

Difficulty level


Added a new difficulty 'Lucky-Pig'.
In Lucky Pig difficulty, the following effects are applied.
