Patch 1.0.34.20 is out!

Hi all!

This new patch fixes some minor issues and adds even more optimizations.
We also updated prologue build with many fixes and added localization in it as well.

We keep improving the game and will add also a couple of new features which will be useful also in the next title we are designing now ( just on paper ;-) )
Of course it will be a story set in the same Die Young universe, but we will unveil more in the next weeks!

Today we release patch 1.0.30.20 where many things were added,
the most important are RUSSIAN and SPANISH languages!

We are still finalizing Italian ( it's our native language so we want to make things right ;-) ) and it should be ready for next week when also official soundtrack will be released.

We also add Trading cards in this patch, we hope you like it!

With patch 1.0.26.20 we keep improving performances and animations and fixing bugs as well.

We're actively working on translations and we are confident to release the first batch of languages next week.

Hi all!

We introduce with patch 1.0.14.20 several improvements in performance and animations, especially npc ones.
But also we fix few annoying bugs like the one that prevented some players from starting generator.

We are working hard on translations too!
Soon ( 1 week or less ) the following languages will be available:

Patch 1.0.10.20

Hi all!

One week has passed and we saw MANY of you playing Die Young!
It is still among "new and trending" games of this month, Thank you so much!

With this patch we address the problem affecting many of you: zzzzzzzz loading!
Most users should experience now 2x or 4x faster times but may be more, according your specs.

Also we optimized the way objects and resources are loaded and tweaked level streaming as well.
This is not the level we would like to reach ( there is still work to do this month ) but situation is much better now and stuttering / lag that affects some areas should be definitely less.

We fixed a myriad of little issues compared to day 1 and added few gameplay tweaks ( like a little surprise just few meters away from the starting well ;-) Players who like a slow start will appreciate it ;-)) )

We keep working and improve every week.

Die Young launches into 1.0!

Finally we did it!
Today die Young leaves Early Access and launches into 1.0. !

During these years of early access we did many updates and regulary added content but this one is definitely our biggest update so far!
in 1.0 we did tons of improvements, and added many features, but most importantly we added eleven new areas ( some of them very big ; -) ) to the already huge open world where the story of Daphne and his friends will take place!

Will she survive? Will she escape the island?

Die Young will be released on september 12th!


Hi all!

It's been a long time since our last official communication and I apologize for that, but as you may imagine a game like Die Young is not something that leaves us with lot of free time, not to our little team at least, ;-)

During the last year of work we realized that this would be the year of the final release.
I saw under my eyes the game world and history unfold as we always imagined.
All this was extremely exciting.

Towards the end of spring, when the release of the prologue was almost upon us, we believed that the month of July would have been that of the release, given that the rough workmanship of the levels was practically complete even if many things were still missing especially
regarding audio and acting.

Despite everything, the team and I never felt like communicating an official launch date.
We *unofficially* said that it could have been in july but never were so sure to confirm it. ( If some of you took this unofficial statement as the official release date this was not our intention, if this disappointed anyone, i personally apologize for that. )

We feared to set a specific date because we know that expectations about everything ( story, performance, polishing ) are very high.
And we don't want to disappoint not only players who don't know Die Young yet (to whom we hope to like), but ESPECIALLY you loyal fans who have been following the development of the title for a long time.

While i am writing we are working with internal betatesters (yes, we have hired more of them following your advices ;-)) and we are testing all the endings.
I am happy to announce that the game is complete in all its levels, it can be completely finished and the story of Daphne finally has an epilogue.

Realistically, another week of cleaning and polishing, and without too much effort we could have launched on 9 or 10 August.
But it wouldn't have seemed appropriate for many reasons, too close to the August 15 holidays, too close to gamescom,
( I have been there personally since 2012 ;-)) so in the end, albeit reluctantly, i think we made the right call regarding the game by postponing the launch date in early September.

Therefore, the one and only

OFFICIAL release date of Die Young will be September 12th.



Of course, all those who are eager to try the previewed game can write me personally on the steam chat or on indiegala forums after August 10th and I will release them the code to access the internal beta of the full game, or they can meet me at gamescom and they can try it live ;-)

Today I also take this opportunity to introduce a new important update for DY Prologue.
Probably this is the update that makes the game more fluid than ever,
moreover the annoying jitter of the crossbow was fixed and a myriad of optimizations and improvements were made (which of course you will all find in Die Young!)

The team never stops, of course, but personally I will go now few days at sea in the magnificent south of Italy before gamescom.
