We've added a seed system for the scoring and sandbox game modes. It allows you to have the same start using the same seed and the same parameters when launching a game.

- A new forecast
Today, we will describe a core element of the game: weather and natural disasters. Throughout your experience, weather influences everything in the game and hinders progress. Even if the weather looks like an obstacle, being adaptive lets you carry through your plans and get the most out of any situations.
And here's the trick: each weather effect offers a unique challenge: foggy weather affects the morale of your travelers while a bright shiny sun affects resources production. It is also the perfect opportunity for us to offer immersive visual and sound design related to the different day's phases.
- Brace yourselves
Weather is a core mechanic, and natural disasters are the equal of bosses. During the Prologue, you encountered a giant wave that is testing your base. Get ready for the next disasters as they will join the party during the development of the game.
- You sent your feedback, we listened!
We dived into reworking how weather disasters would appear. In the previous version, they would appear after a challenging weather creating unfair difficulty spikes, which could be overwhelming at the time.
With the new system, we have now splitted weather effects from natural disasters to allow more flexibility and control over randomness. Also, it opens a good development angle towards the behavior of weather as you progress through a run, which provides a more appropriate challenge throughout the game.

We are so glad to announce we have a release date for Diluvian Winds Prologue! π
The free version of our upcoming building and management game Diluvian Winds will launch on September 21st.
To celebrate this announcement, we have decided to make a first devlog so you can learn more about the game. Enjoy your reading below!
Welcome to our very first devlog, where we are going to talk about the travelers who live in the world of Diluvian Winds. In our game, you will welcome different wanderers in a hamlet tied to a lighthouse that will help you manage your base.
It was very important for us to offer diverse and endearing characters through several species with a different version of clothing and colors for each one of them - which is also very useful for character identification.
To mark the idea around the characters traveling the world of Diluvian Winds, we decided that the characters would be able to frequently come and leave the hamlet. It allows the player to change from an inhabitant to another and adapt depending on the needs.
In exchange for shelter in the hamlet, the Travelers help the Lighthouse Keeper! Characters have different personal traits which allow them to do different actions for resource production. For example, Beavers are experts in woodworking and have diverse bonuses tied to wood production!

Diluvian Winds was playable during Gamescom 2022, at Goblinz Publishing booth, and we wanted to thank you for the warm feedback you gave us. But donβt worry, the prologue is coming on September 21th so you can all enjoy Diluvian Winds for real!
