"The Predators Path" Full release - 28th April



Hello everyone!

We have great news today. The release date for the next chapter is finally here!

Release date for the next major update to Dino Nest is now set to 28th April. We put our heart and soul into this project for over a year in Early Access and we now believe that the game is ready to leave Early Access and begin a new journey with this update so we proudly announce that this is the official release date for the full version of the game. This is a step forward for Dino Nest to be shown to a wider audience and it will help us to improve the game even more.

"The Predators Path" update is going to be the largest one yet not only in terms of content, but also the overall mechanics. We are currently working on bringing the jungle to life, implementing quests for a full campaign storyline. The storyline will introduce new gameplay in the world that will give more meaning to exploring and leave a trail for the player to follow.

We have now been working on Dino Nest now for over 2 years and it shaped up to be a game that we are really proud of. Our plan going forward is to keep expanding with more features and content even after the full release. There is huge potential for new unique gameplay that have not been touched yet that we strongly feel will fit the game perfectly.

You need to explore and hunt to find rare creatures in the world. Instead of being visible on the map from the get-go, Points of Interests and new rare apex boss encounters are now discovered by other means, such as being a threat in a certain area might attract the attention of other creatures or attacking other nests.

In your hunting for prey or expanding territory you will have a chance to encounter many new Points of Interest and new unique rare apex creatures.

UPDATE Chapter III "Hidden Island" is OUT NOW!



The next chapter of Dino Nest is now released! All elder apex creatures can now be hunted for a reward. We also added a new secret area to the world and a new playable mysterious species. To unlock the new exciting things just play to progress. Enjoy!

This is our biggest update so far with major features including a "game ending suprise", heavy rework of the world generation, hundreds of tweaks and fixes and improved saving systems. Savefiles from previous versions are compatible but all elder creatures will be reset for the "hunt reward" progression.

We also have special good news regarding that we finally found a fix for that wierd ancient bug where herbivores sometimes act like carnivores and starts hunting for meat. This bug has been causing issues with the game world for some time. Maybe you have been hunted by a very hungry crazy Dodo that thinks it has big teeth and wants meat. In that case your nightmare is now over and you can be happy. All herbivores should now act like prey and not predators.

Introducing Chapter III - Brand new major update!



We are proud to announce our biggest update so far, "Chapter III" of Dino Nest coming out next week, 2 December 2021.

The new chapter will come with 3 new major additions and features, many improvements, tweaks, optimizations and a ton of bug fixes for the game. As of this moment we have 72 listed changes to patch notes (v1.22.141).

The next chapter will also, for the first time, introduce an end goal to Dino Nest. This is a big step for the game as we enter an exciting phase of development working on lategame content.

We don’t want to spoil anything for you yet so make sure to tune in next week!
