Hello All,
In an effort to control costs we have decided to make Disc League for Vive to be LAN only. The majority of users are playing on LAN in public places and keeping the servers running has been too expensive. This makes us sad but with the surge of other high profile multiplayer VR games coming out or already out (e.g. Raw Data 10 pvp and Lone Echo) there should be lots of multiplayer mayhem to enjoy. We hope everyone has enjoyed the online battles we have had and in the future we hope to re-enable the servers again if external funding were to arrive. In the meantime you can still enjoy Disc League locally with friends.
Thank you for the support and sorry to see the online portion go away. :(

Work is in progress
We are working hard on Disc League and hoping to have another major release by end of summer. We may or may not be sending out announcements during this time (depending on circumstances). Lots of stuff is happening, we will share through the Steam community as we can. Thanks to everyone who is enjoying Disc League as it is in Early Access and for those who are waiting, we think you will really like the full release version even more!
Bots Added!
We've heard from community members that bots were desired for those times when waiting for others to join... so we've added bots!
The bots throw, block, dodge and maneuver through cover and put up a decent fight. Here are some videos of the bots in action:

Firing up a new game RIGHT NOW
People looking to battle online. I will be in game for next hour or so and will have some testers jumping in too.
Video Reviewers (with Vive) - please email me
Been getting a lot of requests from reviewers who do not own a Vive. If you review Vive content and would like a key please request a key through key mailer:
https://www.keymailer.co/g/games/41402
Then please EMAIL ME to let me know your identity on key mailer - there are MANY others who have requested who do not own a Vive. I would like to find you and grant you a key faster.
Thanks!

Controls!
Ah yes, many tutorials have been created and have died as the gameplay evolved. We will make another but for now here are the controls by default:
Move = Left Thumbpad
Throw = Trigger
Shield = Grip
Recall = Trigger (after thrown)
Teleport = Hold Grip then Press Trigger (while disc in flight)
You can also throw curves, bounce off of walls and find cool places that are only available by teleporting via your disc.
See you in the game!

Footage of Beta tests from tonight
Beta tests went pretty well tonight. We still have some bugs but the game was a blast and we got some great feedback.
Here are some clips from tonight's tests:

Get Ready!
Disc League will be available Wednesday May 17th!
Chase the Dot Locomotion
For people prone to motion sickness, I have implemented a "chase the dot" locomotion that is responsive and should work decently in combat. While pressing the thumbpad your character moves toward the dot. When you let go it instantly pops you back into first person view. I am hoping this will work well for people who cannot handle "free movement" or "sliding" locomotion on the thumbpad.

Let me know what you think.
Cool? Weird? Interesting?
Ultimately I'm hoping fun and useful.
Releasing in One Week
Hello Everyone,
Disc League is *almost* ready for early access release. We are working hard on addressing some last minute usability concerns. Primarily around alternate locomotion and some UI changes.
We REALLY want to get this game out and have everyone able to play it. Please wishlist this, tell a friend, or whatever else to get the word out. We just uploaded some video from our last beta test session for you to get a feel of what the game is like right now to play. The main things that will change are related to movement and the UI, for the most part gameplay will be the same at Early Access release.
Feel free to tell us what you think, what you would like to see, or are expecting from this game.
