We just released a small patch for Discovr Egypt. The larger optimization and content patch is still in the works, so keep an eye out for that in the near future.

<*>Updated Treasure Hunt to have a clearer tutorial for viewing the checklist and timer.

King Tut's Tomb Is Now Free!
After considering the initial user feedback from our experience, We've decided to make Discovr Egypt Free! Those who purchased the game will be given the option to obtain a refund.
We appreciate all the reviews and comments received from those of you who have tried the game, and in response to your feedback we have also decided to add more content to the experience and to other experiences to come.

Fixed installation of redistributables linked to some crashes
Adjusted lighting and removed lens flare to make the gold less blinding (Sorry)
Upgraded flashlight with a proper cookie texture so it looks better
Fixed ability to quit the game using the Escape key at any time.
Sorry for any problems that were caused by the crashes, and thanks to some of our users for helping us track down the root of the problem and repair it. You may need to validate your files if you are not receiving the patch, but it should update on its own.
Temporary Crash Fix for Users Experiencing Issues
We have received reports that some of you are running into unexpected crashes which are preventing you from enjoying our experience. Rest assured we are working on an update which should resolve this issue in the future. However, in the meantime there is a way to resolve the crashing issue yourself.
Navigate to your game install directory, likely C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DiscovrEgypt Or similar.
Navigate to DiscovrEgypt\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us and run UE4PrereqSetup_x86.exe
That should resolve any issues regarding crashes at runtime. We will be pushing an update to resolve this for future users as well as some lighting adjustments later in the day. Thank you for your patience and have fun exploring the tomb.
