Update 19: New Railgun Weapon, Guided Laser Upgrade, Easy Mode, and Balancing!
New Content: - New Weapon: Railgun! - New Upgrade Tree: Guided Laser! - Added an Easy Mode where you start with 2x health and enemies move slower, but score gain is decreased
Changes to Existing Content:
Buffs: - Buffed Shotgun damage, fire rate, and several weapon perks - Increased damage of Lightning Bolt, Guided Missile, and Burn upgrades - Slight rework of some upgrades in Guided Missile tree - Combustion now causes EXP from enemies killed on fire to float toward you - Singularity Anomaly now floats EXP toward you - Tweaks to the following upgrades:
Projectile Deflection (Fire Rate -20% -> Movement Speed -5%)

Implemented cloud support, weapons and credits should now be the same across all devices!

Public Beta 1: Test a New Weapon and Upgrade Tree!
I'm going to start releasing new content and changes under betas to make sure everything works as intended and to get some player feedback. Everything in the beta will likely be available in the main game after a few days if there are no issues, so feel free to give any feedback or report bugs in the Steam Community Hub or the Discord! Note that leaderboards and credits are not available in the beta, so playing the beta shouldn't impact your main game. Betas will likely be taken down when their corresponding updates are released.
Access the beta by right-clicking on the game in your Steam library: Properties -> Betas -> Beta Participation -> beta

Update 16: Bug Fix and QOF
- Fixed a bug where an enemy would be invisible - Added a feature where hovering over an unlocked upgrade in the level-up menu will show the upgrade's description
Update 15: Bullet Collision Fix
Improved collision detection for very fast-moving bullets.
Update 14: New Handcannon Weapon, 2 New Upgrade Trees, and More!

Changes to Existing Content: - Buffed and slightly reworked Singularity, Burn, and Bleed Upgrade Trees - Wild Fire Bursts can no longer trigger more bursts - Tweaked the reduction of enemy spawn rates after the first boss to address complaints about the gameplay pacing - Bullet Zone and similar upgrades will now only count a shot as missed if it was directly fired from the player, not an upgrade - Bosses can no longer be frozen - Adjusted the volume of some of the Map 2 boss sounds - Damage Text now changes color depending on the damage type (can be toggled in settings)
Optimization/Bug Fixes/Other: - Damage calculations now make use of multithreading, reducing frame drops - Improved performance regarding creating Shock and Burn particles - Fixed a bug where the vision circle of Missiles didn't register enemies as revealed - Fixed a bug where Point Blank didn't work and added an indicator to show when enemies are close enough - Added an option to hold the Vision button to switch to Cone Vision - Added an option to turn off Damage Text - Added a Credits Menu
AI Removal Progress: More than half of the AI-created artwork for the upgrade icons has been replaced with new ones. There's still a lot of AI placeholder art for some of the original upgrades and for the 2 new ones, but we're working on replacing them too!
Update 13: Bug Fixes and Alt-Tab Support
- Fixed a bug where the cursor color would reset to white in the main menu - Fixed a bug where the first map's 3rd boss would spawn with very low health - Alt-tabbing will now mute game audio and pause the game
Ophidian Update: New Map and Optimizations
- New map with 10 new enemies and 3 new bosses unlocked by completing first map on Hard Difficulty - Optimized performance regarding damaging enemies - Added a particle trail following the player while moving - Added a shadow outline to damage text to increase its visibility - Slightly nerfed Minigun's Fire Rate - Buffed Guided Missile upgrades: Explosion Chain, Phosphorus Missiles
