I hope the new year is treating you all well thus far.
I just wanted to stop by real quick and let you all know that my newest game, Lawless Lands, will be on sale for the next several days! This will give you the chance to start off the new year with a cool new game at a great price!
Lawless Lands launched in full release on August 14th, 2020, after spending almost 2.5 years in Early Access. It has received a number of free content updates, patches, QOL improvements, and community-requested features added onto it over the past few months to bring out its full potential.
With an estimated gameplay time of AT LEAST 70 hours, there is quite an abundance of unique content to keep you busy!
Plunge into the Lawless Lands of Crossia, a once great kingdom where chaos slowly consumes more and more of the country. The cities have plummeted into poverty and crime, and the surrounding countryside is littered with famine and death. The army is close to collapse from an ever-lasting war and cannot stop the spread of the disorder. Hope is almost nonexistent, restoring order is believed to be futile, and panic lingers everywhere. Take on the role of a champion who rises from the ashes to end the suffering.
Enjoy!

Quick PSA: Recent Rapid Updates
Corrosive Supporters,
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to drop by real quick and mention this. Some of you may have noticed a few small updates to Waste Walkers, Disgraced, and Lawless Lands, last night. I was adding a quick menu option to the title screen which will let you check out my other games.
Due to the way Steam detects you being in a game or not, the browser which opened the link to my Steam page was being viewed as the game running, so I'm trying to find a work-around. This is a Steam thing and not directly caused by me because the game is spawning a child process and Steam sees that as part of the game itself. As you can imagine, it's quite annoying. All I wanted to do was link my other work.
I'm currently investigating alternative methods in Ruby to combat this. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post here.
What I've tried:
-Thread.new - Steam still thinks the game is running even if the game closes but the browser remains open
-Fiber.new - Steam still thinks the game is running even if the game closes but the browser remains open
Currently Trying:
Separate Batch File - My thinking is that if I have the game just launch a batch file that separately opens the website, independently of the game running, then Steam won't detect it as the game is still running
Thank you for reading.

12/6/20 Update 1.3.6
Disgraced,
Hey everyone!
So, I was reviewing some of my old material while working on my new project, Lawless Lands: Unrest, and I realized there were a few things that needed some adjustments and fixes in Disgraced. Here is the resulting update.
Update 1.3.6 Change Log:
Bug Fixes: -Special Ranged Skills now actually require Ammo (no more infinitely over-powdering your guns with air and crack-shotting enemies with imaginary arrows) -The Ability Point Gauge now properly shows which percent it is at out of the max instead of a definite 100 (the max ap is 30 in the game so it always showed up as only 30% filled, even when the player had full ap on a character) -Horoku Hiya (Explosive) Bombs are now considered Ranged Attacks like intended (like every other ranged weapon or item in the game) -Torinoko (Smoke) Bombs now have a 100% Success Rate (this was an oversight - when I originally made these, I wanted it to be percent-based, but that was causing misses and since they are literally just thrown at your feet to create a smoke cloud, that didn't make much sense) -Fixed a couple of Typos -Fixed a few Skill Descriptions to better explain what they do/what's required
NOTE: You do NOT need to start a new game.
That's all for now!
Enjoy!
The update will be available shortly.
