Hey people! This is an announcement day. Got good and not so good news to tell, depends on how you see it i guess.
First of all, new project in dev started Fabruary 11th "House of 1000 Traps" which should see full release very soon!! pages are up on steam and itch.io right now. I'd appreciate a wishlist if you can and if you are interrested, thank you so much in advance!
The not so good news is, I need way more time for Dismantled 2. If i can be blunt the game still need a lot even after all this time. Since it was done completely from scratch it took a lot more time. Dev is going great on it, but i just need more time to finish this project.
I also begin to be tired of working only on this single project since over 3 years now that's why i started a quick side project and honestly it helped me so much to get more motivations. It felt refreshing to start something new, been a long while since i had done something new and completely apart from Dismantled to be honest.
I want, and i need to keep doing side projects for now on while also working on Dismantled 2. it will also help financially because i'd need more budget to finish the project.
I hope you understand my decisions, i honestly think it's for the best that way. Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot to me.
On that note stay tuned for future projects announcement later this year!
People were complaining about the game that could not be started and i had no clue what was going on until now, and so i fixed it right away.
If you are experiencing this issue take a look in the options input menu there's a new key you can assign at the very top named "DIFFICULTY SELECT" assign a key to this and it will fix the issue. The default bind is ENTER.
That's all for this update, i just wanted to be sure everyone can enjoy the game. Sorry that it took so long for me to realise what was going on. Thanks to you for pointing that out in the community hub.

Bittersweet Misery Soft lock - fixed
Hello everyone! Just learned 2 days ago that BitterSweet Misery had a soft lock problem and was unbeatable till now unless you knew about some secret areas. So... sorry about that I did fix the issue now. I wanted to warn you though because updating the game might corrupt save files and might as well reset all the unlockable content. To prevent your save files to be corrupted, and to keep the unlocked content i'd recommend you do backups of specific files.
To keep your saves secured: Copy them elsewhere and place them back in the DATA folder after the game is updated. Those saves are named "Save0.zds", "Save1.zds" etc...
To prevent the unlockable content to reset: These unlockables depends of the ini file named "lzdoom_portable" located in the DATA folder. Copy it elsewhere and put it back in the DATA folder after the game is updated.
Thank you so much to all of you for the support and for playing Dismantled! A bigger update will follow later that will fix everything else but I just wanted to make sure the expansion was fully playable as soon as possible before anything else.

Release delayed
Little update for Dismantled Director's Cut. Since I've been busy the past weeks with job I have not got the time to finish the game for June 1st release. Therefor I'll delay it to July 1st. I'm sorry about this but I believe it's better that than rushing everything... I ensure you it's worth the wait though. There's a ton of new stuff that's been added recently!
