Holiday Fix and Game Completion Guide

Fixed a number of inconsistencies throughout the game regarding the combat and some of the routes you can take.

I took some time this week to create a guide. It was more time consuming than I anticipated, but it has been interesting going through the game again. I encourage those interested to try for a 100% completion. Upon doing so, please leave your thoughts via a discussion post or game review. Thank you.

I just want to thank those who have taken the time to report bugs and suggest improvements. I also appreciate the kind feedback that I have received over the past few weeks.

For those who haven't, I encourage you to leave a review for the game and/or feedback in the discussion board. It really helps me as a developer know where I succeeded and failed.

Thank you for your support. :dba_Sacred:

Slammed down some gameplay footage

I realize the static screenshots do not properly reflect on the game and what it offers. I apologize to those who have been patient with the release of information. A gameplay teaser has been added.

I've taken a fair amount of the weekend patching the game, and it is my hope that people can play the game without any issues. If there are any issues found, please report them on the discussions board. This also goes for those who are interested in doing localizations for the game. Paid localizations right now are dependant on the game's success.

I thank everyone that has helped inspire me to finish this game. If you played the first one and enjoyed it, know that this game was designed for you. :dba_Disturbed:

Moved launch back a few hours

After discovering some progress-halting bugs, the release will have to wait a few additional hours. Hopefully by then all the issues will be sorted out. Thank you for your patience.

Only a week before the planned launch of Disturbed: Beyond Aramor

There is so much that I want to share, but doing it in a post like this, it's hard to get the message across. The creation of this game has been quite a journey, and even now, there are a lot of kinks to work out before the game is ready for the public to see... But I'm optimistic! Sometime I'll have to make a documentary or something, but for now, I just wanted to inform everyone that May 18th is the intended release date. Follow and wishlist the game if you haven't already. It's going to be good!

That being said, I hope to be a bit more active on the announcements and being transparent. Even after the game release, I hope to improve and make adjustments where needed. 'Disturbed' still needs a Linux fix, so I'll be working on that soon. I need to sit down and improve my website too, so that's another thing. There will always be something left to work on I guess. As mentioned above, I'd like to get a documentary out there of the creation process of Disturbed: Beyond Aramor.

I look forward to sharing more with everyone soon. Thanks. :warhorse:

Note on Delay

Time has been flying fast these past few months. With little to no updates on the game, I feel I should make another post. Disturbed 2 will still require some time before being finished, and I owe an apology to those who were expecting this to be released this summer season. I was really confident that I could do it, but I was overambitious. I wanted to do so much more when I really should have kept things simple.

So... what's going on?

A lot of the story is in place. The artwork is what I am mainly working on right now. I draw roughly 3 images a day, and spend a day or two editing those images on the computer. I've been experimenting with some animations, and it would look really nice to get all the images animated - but it is a time-consuming process. At this rate, the game will require several months to finish these.

I realize that this has been a learning experience for me, and as an indie dev... I got a lot to learn still. For those of you who have been waiting, I hope you understand.

Thank you for your patience. I hope to share more of what I have been doing soon. :warhorse:

Small Update

I just wanted to make a post since I've been pretty silent for these past couple months. The game is still in development, but due to distractions and school, it will be likely that the game will reach completion around late-summer.

In a lot of ways, this project has stretched me creatively, which came with some things not working as planned. A lot of story refinements have been made along with alterations of the script. This was done in part to help balance the game. Originally I wanted a lot of RNG involved, but I realize that for this visual novel/adventure hybrid, it probably would prove frustrating to a lot of people. So, a lot has been changed from the original drafts. Hopefully, with these things worked out soon, I'll be posting more visual updates. I have a goal to post another video in the near future that will display some of the combat, if not, a more refined representation of the game.

Anyhow, I thought I'd make an announcement. The game is being developed, just slower than planned. Thanks. :warhorse:
