Ok, so I broke the build last night and some people couldn't launch the game. I am a SORRY developer!
So, I learned a lesson: maybe if I'm releasing something with a bunch of big changes under the hood, I should do a beta first.
Ok, yep. I just posted a beta. If you want to check it out and give me feedbacks in the discussion group, just go to DMT in your library, then rightr click on it and go to Properties. There's a tab called Betas. Go and opt-in for the development branch and you'll be able to try out the latest, greatest, and potentially brokenest version of DMT.
Let me know how it goes!
ok, back to the old version!
Sorry folks,
I'll get this new version up to snuff soon, but some users were getting a crash, so I'm rolling back to the previous!
New version is up!
This one has some performance improvements and some tweaks to the visuals to improve sense of depth and dynamic range.
Some pretty big changes under the hood, so please speak up on the discussion boards if I've screwed something up!!
Fulfilling your requests!
Hey everybody!
I just put up a new build that includes some changes and features that you folks have requested!
You'll notice a pretty big visual change, and I'm really interested in your feedback. The request was for improved color palettes- I tweaked and tuned even more on that, rewrote a couple shaders, and ended up with much greater contrast and a much better sense of depth!
I also added the ability to rotate your facing direction using the right pad/stick! This is nice for people who want to lie down or turn around or whatever. I'm surprised I never thought to add this until it was requested. Thanks for the request!
Finally I messed around with scale a bit with the foreground shapes. I think it's pretty cool.
Enjoy!
New release- improved depth!
Hey everybody!
I found a bug that was causing "glitchy" mode to render its stuff with subdued depth. I fixed it, things should now have more depth to them in glitchy mode!
Thanks for reviewers for pushing me to investigate this, I want you all to be happy!
New version, new palettes
Based on Your feedback, I rewrote the system that creates and chooses color palettes. I think it's way better, so thanks for the suggestion!
