It’s been 7 months since the last update. In v1.1.7 a new FX system was introduced and caused the game to run slow on lower spec PCs. Here in version 1.2 we have a major update to the game engine so the game will now run at the correct speed for everyone. If you have a high spec PC you probably won’t even notice any difference.

Version 1.1.7: Demo of new FX system
So 1.14, 1.1.5, 1.1.6 never made it to public release and all their upgrades have been rolled into 1.1.7.
New in this release
LEVEL 1: Constant Fart Fog and the occasional Earthquake.
LEVEL 2: Play level 2 as if you are watching it on a 1980's TV
LEVEL 3: Everything white (Lights, gas jets etc.) now glows!
LEVEL 4: 90's PC pixelated graphics and infrared
LEVEL 5: Now a dimly lit room. You only see what the torch (Flashlight) illuminates
Know issues
Animations of Mutant Poops are skipping frames so their walking is glitching. Oxygen Tanks on level 4 don’t always appear when they should (even though Mission Control says they are there). Game Over cut scene sometimes play at the end of successful level completion or when turning very late.
1.1.3 Demo of New Features

Only the second update this year as I have been soooooo busy but we are nearly there! It’s 99% of where I want to be for the full release.
All the main features now work (some are a little buggy) and have now been added to the first 4 demo levels as follows:
LEVEL 1: Map and Speedboost
Speedboost was in the previous release. It now works a little better and you now get multiple chances to use it. The maps have always been in the game but have been hidden from public view.
LEVEL 2: Third person, Fluid View and Dripping Diarrhoea
We get to see Don in all his glory for the first time. He crouches down to squish the poops. Since adding the shifting camera perspex in version 1.1, every level had it. Now it can just be in some of them
Newly added to version 1.1.3, here we see the dripping diarrhoea for the first time. The death sequence needs work but you get the idea.
LEVEL 3: Roller Shutters & Fart Jets:
Another new feature is the roller shutters. This is a basic implementation and you can still turn as if they are not there. The mutant poops can open them. In future updates you will need to press a button before turning
Don’t touch the burning fart gas, you’ll die.
LEVEL 4: Dripping Diarrhoea, Map & Third Person
All as described above.

New in this version (1.1.2)
My first update in over 6 months as I've been so busy with other projects.
Back in February DDtective sent me a crash report but I couldn't recreate it, then...... about a month ago I found the problem on level 4, which is the only level in the Early Access version that has mutant poops jumping out of the walls. They used to work fine before version 1.1 but the new motion added in 1.1 completely broke the system so I have spent the last month fixing it. This is the only change in this version. I hope to have more time to work on the game over the next few months.

New in this version (1.0.215)
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!
As I was about to release Don Flatus: Poop Hunter back in November 2020, the programming language used to make the game had a massive update. It caused all sorts of glitches, crashes and problems so I have been using an outdated version of the language since the games release.....
Until now!
All the issues caused by the language update have been dealt with (I hope!). So this version should be exactly the same as 1.0.214 (still hoping!)

Continued Animation Update
New in this version (1.0.214)
SKELETAL ANIMATIONS
1) In the last update I announced the start of converting bitmap animations into skeletal animations. In this update I have continued converting more of the animations. You probably won't even notice the change but this work is freeing up processing power for a BIG change that I'm working on!

2) I have continued work on the game engine. As a player, you won't really see anything (YET!). The work that has been done will enable big changes and advancements for future updates.

Bug Fix & Start of New Animation Type
New in this version (1.0.213)
SKELETAL ANIMATIONS
1) I have started converting bitmap animations into skeletal animations. Only the running poop has been done in this update, the rest will be done in future update. This should free up a lot of processing power for other new features that are planned.
BUGS FIXED
2) Stylex reported that a complete crash of the game happened when he got 3 crystals in a level. This has now been fixed.
