Patch Notes 18/12/18 - Doors are dumb

This update contains some QoL fixes/changes that should address a couple of issues we've run into or had brought to our attention. Thanks to those who are letting us know when they have problems so that we can fix them for you!

- Added an Object Highlight system to make it easier to figure out what you're about to grab. This can help with depth perception issues for pirates or anyone else who wears an eye-patch.

- Changed the level select system: Grabbing a key off the wall begins fading to black and then loads the selected level. Releasing the key cancels it. It turns out doors are dumb. Or we're dumb. You can guess which.

- Fixed some issues with the save system to prevent errors on loading. (I.e., you may have tried to launch the game and you were transported to a land where there was nothing but an infinite red horizon. The only way to fix it was to delete your sav.dat file in AppData/LocalLow/AberrantRealities. Game Dev is hard.)

Early Access, Discord, and What's Next!

Hello everyone!

It's been an incredible few weeks since our early access launch and we wanted to take this opportunity to not only pat ourselves on the back for being so damn good at making video games, but also to thank each and every one of you for your support. Yes, even you. Especially you. We are so humbled by the response our game has recieved, and being a part of the PAX Aus Indie Showcase was an incredible experience.

So here's the thing - we're happy with what we've achieved, but just like me at 3am after my first fistful of cheese from the packet at the back of the fridge, we're back and we're hungry for more.

Here's the plan for the next couple of weeks:

COMMUNITY DISCORD!

Well, this one is kind of cheating since we've already done it. You can join the discord here: https://discord.gg/vMQgCKA

CONTENT ROADMAP!

We promised a lot for early access, and our goal is to deliver. We believe that what we deliver and how we deliver it should be transparent, so we're going to show our work and ensure that we're delivering the content that we know we'll be proud of all the while making sure you know what's going on. Neat, huh?

A LIVE ACTION TRAILER!?

That's right. We got one of those. I was there, I wasn't in it, but I was there. It was rad. You can check out that bad boy here
