I am a sole developer, living in the UK, a Bulgarian.
I have developed this game as my passion project, spending my own time and money, after my day job.
On the route to publishing this game, I have been extremely lucky to receive @antgrass's invaluable help.
Sorry, but I took the liberty to relax for a few months and meet family, friends and some new people. I have also played a lot of racing games.
This helped me to receive some new ideas and also ge a lot of feedback.
Working a day job and having a side hustle project is not an easy task...
Anyway, stay tuned because there is a lot coming up. Down Fast VR is a long term project and your patience is appreciated a lot! Thank you!
I am planning to introduce a racing line and a rollercoaster mode, which should be available by the end of the year.
Also there are a lot of optimizations to be done, as well as some bugfixes.
I am in my home country until end of May and won't publish an update until end of July.
For that reason, please enjoy frequent discounts and also please join the discord and share your feedback and honest opinion.

Update v0.5.5 - Tutorial, Ghosts in Freeride and New Race Track
Tutorial
The tutorial is now available and it will show you the basics of riding bikes.
A more extended tutorial for tricks and in air control will come in the future updates.
NEW Race Track
There is a new track specifically designed for the tutorial. This track is a circuit and you have two new races to beat!
Ghosts in Freeride
Never ride alone anymore! Freeride mode will show random racers' ghosts going down hill. You can also turn it off if you prefer riding solo.

1. Bug fix for bike going under map when starting a race from freeride mode
2. Loading screen added (To be improved in future builds)
3. Bug fixes for Urban map races bugged checkpoints. The checkpoints were in wrong order and this was causing restarts
4. Changed default settings
- Default bike is now the Monster bike.
- Steering assistance is off by default.
5. Bug fix for races starting before the ghosts have loaded

Thank you for playing Down Fast VR while it is early in Early Access!
Here is a small update which should make your experience a bit better.
When you first launch the game after the new update you will be faced with a screen which has some options for comfort and bike control. There are even more options in the settings menu > Advanced settings.
This patch also brings some general fixes for the default bike like making it's suspension better and improving the traction.
Below is the full change log.

1. Adjusted brake strength.
Brakes are now stronger and more useful
2. Fine tuned the default bike
- suspension updated so that it is smoother
- Updated tires friction models

- Toggle Wheelies. Wheelies are now switched off by default. TO DO: Calibration for the weight transfer

Down Fast VR Early Access Is Available Now
Down Fast VR is finally available as Early Access and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do!
Race in Async Multiplayer
Beat the ghosts of other players and be the fastest on the leaderboard. Race on 20+ handcrafted stages.
Freeride
Ride your bike on 4 unique locations, do stunts or just enjoy the ride.
Two bikes
Select one of two bikes.
One is more stable but slower and not very good at steering
The other one gives you more control and faster speed
Plans for the future
The game is still in Early Access and as such it has issues.
Below are some of the planned future updates
Mod Support
The game already support for player created maps** The plan is to release a comprehensive package for Unity which will allow creating custom maps and races. All of the races will also support leaderboards and in this way popular community made races will have ghosts and one fastest racer!
Steam Workshop integration will follow after the mod support integration is in place and functional
**if you have interest in creating early mods for the game, please join the game's discord and I will be happy to give you some instructions.
Interactive Tutorial
This is in the TO DO list for a long time but is also a time consuming challenge in order to get right. This will be useful for new players and probably not that much for veterans of the game but hopefully it will bring more racers and would make the leaderboards a bit more challenging.
Campaign Mode
Campaign mode will consist of challenges which have to be completed on each location. Challenges can include Races, Tricks and Freeride tasks and you as a player will have to beat a challenge set in order to unlock the next one.
This can also unlock the way for daily challenges.
Customization
Your Ghost can live forever being chased by noob riders and I know that you would like to put some style to it. This will start small with things like customizing the colors and can expand to adding different accessories.
Community feedback will be listened and one of the things to add is a basket for the bike :D
Bug Fixes
Although listed in the last place, making sure that there are no technical issues which prevent people from playing the game will always be first priority.
