First and foremost, all episodes for volume 1 are now wrapped and ready for release.
A release schedule will be published every month.
A New Name
One of the biggest changes for the series. After more than a decade, Dragon and Weed: Origins name will now evolve.
The original first episode of the series aired in April 2009, then using a name with funny or maybe controversial elements in it wasn’t an instant kill move. With the evolution of the internet and its
main platform, mostly ruled by algorithms (for the good and the bad) it is now hazardous if not self-destructive to use triggering elements as “Weed” in the title.
From now on, Dragon and Weed: Origins become BornWild • Versus.

The name change doesn’t affect in any case the story, or the characters' names in the series.
It is a more algorithms-friendly name or just a friendly name (how many of you first came thinking that the series would be something completely different ;)).
New distribution platforms
Dragon and Weed: Origins Prologue won’t be available for download/purchase on Steam anymore.
The reason behind this choice is that BornWild • Versus/ Dragon and Weed: Origins Vol.1 was always marketed as a linear cinematic visual novel or an interactive motion comics.
Yet for the release of this Free version (Episode 0), a lot of new Steam users did not understand that there was no gameplay and expected some.
Disappointed, they rated the app accordingly which lead to a poor notation on right here.
As you know to succeed on Steam, the rate is an important factor and as a small studio and publisher,
we currently do not have the means to reverse this with a full marketing campaign dedicated to explaining what are and can be a visual novel.
Improvements and New Launch
Since the release of the first version of episode 1, a lot of work was done. Graphics have been improved for episodes 2 to 8 and episode 1 had some small changes too.
