X-Mas Calendar Event Since December, 1st the NPCs at Port of the Winds have a small gift for you. Everyday another NPC at PoW will have a Christmas Gift for you. Just go and grab it once per day for each character which is Level 40+. You will get one gift everyday until December 25th.
X-Mas 12 Days of Christmas Questline The 12 Days of Christmas Questline has started on December 14, 0:00 Server Time. It is available at the Santa NPC so make sure you already rescued him.
X-Mas Event 2022 The X-Mas Event will bring you back the X-Mas Mission Map. The event lasts until December 28, 11:00 Server Time.
X-Mas Quest Line The Gift of Christmas Starting at December 19, 0:00 Server Time a special daily event quest will be available at Port of the Winds. You can get it from The Princess of the Town NPC. It is a seven days long questline which can only be completed if you accept and complete the daily event quest. Each quest will only be available for 24 hours and there is no possibility to take them later. You have to accept and complete each of them on the day they appear. Each of the quests comes with a special clue which is shown to you by Princessia's quest dialog on completion so make sure you do not skip the quest dialog and read it and remember what the NPC told you. You will need it to complete the whole questline. You will not be able to solve the final quest without completing all 7 daily quests yourself. The hints of other players will do nothing for you. If you skipped a day the last quest will not show up for you and you won't be able to get anything. This questline is available for all characters Level 40+ and it is fully intended that the last quest does not have a quest indicator nor will not appear in the quest lists or journal. This is because you are on a gift hunt which requires all seven clues to be able to find the Gift of Christmas. The 7th clue will be available on December 25 and you have to find the last quest on the same day. It will disappear on December 26, 0:00 Server Time. If you think you found what you have to look for, stand in front of it and press your NPC interaction key (default is Space). Good hunting!

Main Questline After completing 6 quests you will be able to run F5 Scenario Mode daily to obtain 1 Big IM Consumables Box and one collectable X-Mas item which can be exchanged for a X-Mas Costume Box.
The 12 Quests of Christmas Beginning with December, 14th you will get a new quest of the quest collection "The 12 Quests of Christmas" daily until December, 25th. The "job" for each of these quests is all around the X-Mas Event Mission Map. The quests can be done until December 26, 23:59 Server Time. Every quest gives you 1 Big IM Consumables Box and one collectable X-Mas item which can be exchanged for a winter themed car mount (Winter Rover) or a winter themed sheep mount (Frosty Flix). Also you will get a brand new X-Mas achievement. Please notice that the car/sheep is neither tradable/sellable nor account vaultable.
Drop Event Collect Santa Christmas Boxes (2022) which need to be opened with Santa Key (2022). The key can be obtained by exchanging it for Burned Cookies (see below). The box randomly gives you one of the following:

User Interface Update: Channel Selection The Channel Selection Screen has been adjusted to match the new login screen. Please note that now the channel region with the best ping is sorted to the top. In-Game the channels are now shown with their names (e.g. US 1, US 2, EU 1, EU 2, etc.) instead of numbers. Please keep in mind that due to the sorting the channel shown for you at the 2nd position might not be show at the 2nd position in the Channel Selection for your friends. So use the channel names instead of a channel number if you want to party up with your friends.

Port of the Winds Farm – Important Notice As mentioned in the last patch notes we decided to remove the possibility to sell or trade Farm materials (gathered from the Port of the Winds Farm, including the blessed items) to other players using the open market, trade or in-game mail. Also the price for selling these items to an NPC Shop will be reduced to 1 copper per item. The only possibility to share these items with other characters will be the Account Vault in the future. Produced items (like the EXP Devices etc.) will be not affected by this and can be sold to others normally. This is now effective.
The next Layer of Protection – Easy Anti Cheat We are proud to announce that we have added another layer of protection against hacking and cheating by adding Easy Anti Cheat to the game. Taking this step shall make your game experience even better. There is no step to take on your end since the EAC installation happens automatically during game start.
It could happen that the Windows Security asks you to allow that the EasyAntiCheat installer can be installed. Please accept that otherwise the game can't run.
Technical Info: Please know that the now needs a 64-bit Operating System to run, even though the game itself is still a 32-bit application.
General Fixes and Changes - Bugfix: Fixed a bug that sometimes when opening lots of in-game boxes shortly after another items went missing (for example it happened with Ancient Relic Boxes and does not happen with IM boxes). A 300ms delay between each box opening has been added to prevent this to happen. Additionally the bug that it had a very long delay when opening boxes by mouseclick has been removed. It's now as fast as opening them using them from the quick slot. - Bugfix: You can no longer try to trade friend points when being max level. This never really worked and so the menu for trading friend points has been removed for max level characters (currently Lv. 85 characters).

Port of the Winds Farm – Important Notice As mentioned several times before we are working on a rework of the Production System. As a first transition step we decided to remove the possibility to sell or trade Farm materials (gathered from the Port of the Winds Farm, including the blessed items) to other players using the open market, trade or in-game mail. Also the price for selling these items to an NPC Shop will be reduced to 1 copper per item. The only possibility to share these items with other characters will be the Account Vault in the future. Since this is a breaking change this adjustment will be effective from October 19, 11:00 Server Time. If you gathered materials with several characters but only produce with one we recommend to send the materials to your other characters until the adjustment will become effective.

We are celebrating our 12th anniversary and we invite you to celebrate with us.
This year we have our 12th Birthday Cake and also we have a little guest. The name of him is "Little Bob". Little Bob has something very special for you. When you talk to him he will be able to teleport you and your party members into the Dungeon of the Forgotten Past. The Dungeon will take you and your party members on a journey into Dragon Saga's past. The Dungeon is an Expert Mode Dungeon, it does not offer a normal mode. All Expert Mode limitations apply, but you also get the 8 end rewards.

Anniversary Accessory Box which contains randomly one of these items: Anniversary Ring Anniversary Necklace Anniversary Earrings Each of the items are giving +0.5% Enchant Success Chance and +0.5% Soulcraf Success Chance. If you equip all 3 you get another +1.5% Enchant Success Chance and Soulcraft Success Chance.
If you kill the Mini Bosses at the boss room, they will drop a Piece of Birthday Cake. That item can be traded at the Birthday Cake for a special wing. Either in Black or in White or you get yourself both. They cost 25 Pieces of Birthday Cake each. You can also trade it for an [Event] Sir Helpsalot Support Pet which costs 30 Pieces of Birthday Cake each. This Sir Helpsalot can be upgrade to an High-Stat Support Pet using the Pet Upgrader Item from the Item Mall. The High-Stat version comes with 5 different colors which can be changed randomly by using the Pet Dye Potion from the Item Mall. The Low-Stat Event version only comes with one color.

You can obtain House Fly Items by killing Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary.

Drakos Tower – Lighting Update The visual appearance of Drakos Tower has been updated by our Map Maker by reworking the overall lighting on all floors. Drakos Tower looks prettier now.
