Buying and selling ships

Very soon, a new gameplay component will be added to the game — the purchase / sale of ships and their improvement.



So, here are a few innovations:


  1. 4 types of ships will appear in the game:

    • Fishing boat
    • Fast/Light Auger
    • Trading Knorr
    • Heavy/Combat Drakkar

  2. Ships can be bought in cities. You can have only 1 ship at a time.
  3. Each type of ship has 5 levels, on which the characteristics and number of slots for equipment depend.
  4. In total, approximately 40+ pieces of equipment are planned. Each of the equipment changes the parameters of the ship: strength, armor, speed, maneuverability, carrying capacity, team size, visibility radius, damage.
  5. In addition, now when approaching an enemy ship, the ships start firing at each other.

  • Added a big hunting quest for the sea snake Jormund: chase, battles on the ship with the involvement of fishmen, an epic battle in the lair of the snake in a new large location.
  • Added pathos animations and cut scenes for the main bosses and other mini-bosses.
  • If you are too tired of the tyranny of enemies with shields, then we have reduced their chance of blocking. And also reduced the strength of the shields of the opponents. Now breaking the enemy's shield is not a feat, but a routine.
  • The balance of the battle has been significantly reworked in terms of the force of impacts and the timing of the use of throwing spears by units.
  • Improved control of the hero: it is forbidden to raise wounded units if the hero himself is lying on the ground; fixed throwing spears behind the back.
  • Locations have been improved in terms of geometry, textures and content: a training location, locations of the Rusty Spears and Sea Snakes gangs, locations of ruins, Brendel's cave. Significantly increased rewards for completing all locations.
  • Made the tutorial area simpler and with more tutorial messages. Also added additional hints about the need to hire additional units.
  • The type of weapons and armor on the units is changed to the appearance of these items in the pictures.
  • The interface has been improved: the health bars of the bosses have been improved, their names have been added. Removed the output of buffs over unconscious units. Added stun icon display.
  • Added some missing sounds including Ulvar's werewolf hits.
  • Fixed a bug where Verusha did not heal our warriors for free if we defeated Thorstein in battle.
  • Added new fishman armor variants: shaman and spearman.
  • Improved unit AI.
  • Improved the assortment and prices of merchant ships for a more balanced game.
  • Fixed observed inconsistencies and logical errors in dialogues and quests.
  • Fixed some bugs in the behavior of allies in the tutorial.
  • Improved and fixed some hero animations: placing in a block with different sets of weapons.
  • Fixed animations of enemies when they could turn while attacking.
  • Fixed deafening scream not triggering for allies.
  • Fixed enemy units could get stuck on top of barrels and chests.
  • Fixed errors in texts.
  • Many other small fixes and improvements: incl. changed the color of undead blood.

  • The first training location has been significantly improved: a training arena has been added to teach the player basic techniques and controls.
  • Now the player's hits on opponents will be better felt. A slight fading of the animation and shaking of the camera when hit have been added.
  • In boarding battles wounded allies are automatically removed from the deck to allow new crew members to enter.
  • The travel map has been improved. The cooldown for locations where a battle has recently taken place has been increased.
  • Improved locations in terms of geometry, textures and content. Improved the design of the Arena location.
  • The interface has been improved: the appearance of units' health and stamina indicators has been changed for greater visibility, separate large indicators have been added for all bosses. When filling your travel bag, you can hold down the button to add items up to the maximum possible amount.
  • Improvement of the interface for Steam Deck: calling a virtual keyboard when entering text and other improvements recommended by Valve.
  • Fixed logic and errors of some quests incl. impossibility of exit. Added new dialogues, for example with the freed troll. Added a cooldown for the quest with militia training.
  • Added new sounds and adjusted the volume of some sound effects.
  • Fixed errors and typos in texts and localization.

  1. The first training location for beginners has been balanced.
  2. Added flocks of fishmen that act as raider ships. When the fishmen attack in the sea, their ship is displayed in a boarding battle. Added rewards for winning.

  4. Balancing the speed of gaining experience by team units. Untrained peasants from villages get an extra point when pumping.
  5. The combat capability of units rises by 1% every day when they did not participate in battles and did not recover after being wounded.
  6. The hero Skald now breaks buildings more quickly with a spear.
  7. Fixed: Berserker did not use his skill on the player's command.
  8. Customize the animations of dodging and blocking by heroes for more responsive control. Removed somersaults when landing from a low altitude. Added the ability to use a sprint dodge.
  9. In the quest about training peasants, the reward now depends on their number.
  10. Fixed parameters of some quests: recommended level, logic, missing options for the development of the conversation.
  11. Improvements to locations in terms of geometry, textures and filling. A dwarf trader has been added to some difficult locations.
  12. Improving the player's ship's pathfinding so that it doesn't sail through the shore.
  13. Wreckage in the sea now does not appear in inaccessible places.
  14. Increased the number of merchant ships. Setting up product prices.
  15. Fixed the limit on the number of items in the last cell of the travel bag.
  16. Various fixes in the interface elements: explanatory captions, larger camp placemarks on the map.
  17. The possibility of renaming units has been implemented.
  18. Corrections in interface texts, item descriptions, dialogs, and localization.
  19. Refinement of the interface for Steam Deck: a larger font in some texts..
