Eliminating the third person perspective
We came to a conclusion that a lot of you guys prefer to play the game in first person only in the future because "the third person perspective is a bit confusing". So we may eliminate the third person view and the action elements to make it purely a survival horror game in the future. We are also working on new game mechanics and on a new motion capture system.
Update 1.2
Another update has been deployed and this will fix 5 major bugs:
- Fixed: Sudden FPS drop when playing in first person.
- Fixed: Right hand does not collide with the wall.
- Fixed: Player falls under the map.
- Fixed: Texture resolution.
- Fixed: Player can't interact with some objects.
Update fix 1.1
A new update has been deployed, this will fix multiple and common bugs that players have encountered.
- Fixed : When loading from a checkpoint in first person, some models from previous levels will not be destroyed.
- Fixed : Instructions are not very clear.
- Fixed : After the first cinematic ends, the player will hear all sounds from the right side only.
- Fixed : The controls layout in the main/pause menu combines both first and third person.
- Fixed : The player movement is too slow in first person.
- Fixed : Blur intensity is very high.
- Fixed : Bloom intensity is very high.
- Fixed : Mouse sensitivity is high.
- Fixed : When entering the fourth loop, the character automatically holds his breath.
