Dread Universe 6 Years Anniversary
Hello everyone, During these exceptional times, we would like to say our proper thanks to all of your support. 6 years ago, DreadOut was born from a mere dream. Started from this piece of paper :)
And with all of your support, we can continue making something that we loved for, making video games. With the growing and more diverse content being widely received by gamers, we hope that our game is able to show a small glimpse of our culture in a unique way, which was being rarely presented in video games.
Along these years, we are still continuing to learn how to make proper video games that can capture the hearts and minds of players all around the world. That being said it was easier said than done, and we are hoping we can both grow together in the next decade or more. Stay tuned for any future releases and upcoming updates from us! :)

DreadOut 2 version 1.1.3 Released (Chinese, Russia, and Bahasa localization)

Today we have updated DreadOut 2 to version 1.1.3 that contains some minor bug fixes and the most part are adding some new localizations as well. We are adding China, Russia, and Bahasa localization in this update. Shoot out to our friend Marianne who helps us with the Russian translation, we can’t do without her help. Thanks!

Regarding COVID-19
Hello everyone, As you all might know, The COVID-19 pandemic is deeply concerning to all of us. Indonesia as our development home-based has also recently announced a policy to reduce the outbreak with the social distancing and work from home policies as well. Due to our limited resources, and online infrastructure readiness, for a small independent developer like us, we aren't prepared well enough to handling this unusual situation.
With our plan to release several patch and updates within our schedules in upcoming weeks, sadly it may be slower due to these challenging times. The health and safety of our team member and their families remain our top priority, and we will continue to adapt our practices to the situation as it evolves. we will try our best to keep maintaining our plan, continue our remote working with a minimum of disruption and some adjustment working procedure.

DreadOut 2 Version 1.1.1 And Trading Cards Are Available Now!

In addition to that, we also made available the DreadOut 2 Trading Cards series complete with Badges, Emoticons, and Profile Backgrounds.

DreadOut 2 Version 1.1.0 Update
Hello everyone,
Recently, we have an update to further improving DreadOut 2 experience, eliminating further newly founded bugs as well.
This update also contains a major change in terms of Achievement trophy, where we removed BURIK achievement as we have told you in previous DreadOut 2 Version 1.0.1 Update patch notes. The BURIK (an anagram of RUBIK) was a Rubik's cube player need to solve and tied to our achievement. Alas, it just brings headache to all of us, both the solver and the game (as some of you might have experienced, it occasionally missing in the level and shown back upon reloading checkpoints).
We do not have an exact answer as to why it happened so randomly except that it possibly related to the collision and numerical stability of the game engine, hence we removed it completely (both the cube and the achievement). The version is bumped to 1.1.0 from 1.0.1 because of this decision. Hope you understand.

DreadOut 2 version 1.01 Update
Hello everyone, First of all, thank you for giving us tremendous supports and feedback within our rocky 3 days launch of DreadOut 2. With your support and patience, we will improve DreadOut 2 experience’s that it deserved.
Along with this announcement, we have just released our updates and fix to solve some potentially game-breaking progress that players reported. Also, an improvement in user experience as well, save and load, optimizing, tweaking some of the boss battles, etc.
Your save game would be fine, so that you can continue your progress through there. This fix may not solve all of the issues that players encountered. But we can only promise that we will be continually updating our build. You can look at all the details of bug fixing through here;
Please kindly updates your game with our latest build. We are really encouraging everyone to keep posting and report any issues along the way and share your experience with us.

First of all, Thank you for the patience and sorry for the delay, there are some dark spirits corrupted our coding :)
DreadOut 2 is our attempt to make a unique take on a survival horror mix with action, adventure genre with Asian/Indonesian lore, settings, and urban legends, that was being rare presented in video games. With the growing and more diverse content being widely received by gamers, we hope that DreadOut 2 is able to show a small glimpse of our culture in a unique way and get accepted by gamers worldwide, particularly for survival horror fans.
DreadOut 2 is our labor of love, within 2 years in the making, we put our hearts and souls to bring this for you. There were lots of up and down, joy, tears, and sacrifices to be made across the development. Our small family team of super developers, our small community and endless fans support was one of the reasons that we continue telling a story of DreadOut. DreadOut 2 is by far the most ambitious, passion project by us. As an indie developer, we have always been clueless with a bigger vision, bigger goals and yet sometimes we often hit the wall.
DreadOut 2 is far from a perfect product, not everyone would be satisfied with it. But we can only promise to all of you, that we will always do our best to continue improving your experiences along the way.
