Black Screen - SOLVED x2 (solutions at bottom)
Someone with Windows 10 reported that they get audio but no visuals. On my new computer, I seem to have the same problem, even though I've played the game successfully on Windows 10 and 7 on multiple computers in multiple countries. Looking into it!

Possible problems and solutions:

1) You might need to reinstall the game.
2) You might need to update your graphics card driver.
3) You might need to roll back your graphics card driver.

Is this happening for other games? If so, that would be a useful piece of information. Still looking. Thanks!

SOLUTION 1: I have not personally tested this solution, but I think it's definitely a worth a shot.

1) Go to your Library tab in Steam
2) Right click Dreamblaster and click Properties
3) Click Local Files tab and click Browse Local Files...
4) Right click the Dreamblaster.exe file and click Properties
5) Click the Compatibility tab
6) Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box
7) Use the dropdown to select Windows XP (try either SP)
8) Click Apply

You should be good!

SOLUTION 2: I rolled back my graphics card driver.

1) Hold the Windows button and press X
2) Click Device Manager
3) Expand Display adapters
4) Right click your graphics card and click Properties
5) Go to the Driver tab
6) Click Roll Back Driver
7) Confirm and complete process

You should be good!

Title Screen Shortcuts
If you hold 1 and press D, you go to the Dream Over screen. I know one of my kids loved to play that screen. :)

If you hold 1 and press 3 (or is it hold 3 and press 1?), you will go to Act 3.

If you hold 1 and press 2 (or is it the reverse?), you will start near the beginning of the game.

There are others, but that's enough for now! Enjoy!

Release and other stuff


---Release---

After much testing, I believe the game is ready to rock! I'm going to release on the 6th as intended.

---Bugs---

There are virtually none of these. If you find one, report it. I do have a fondness for one bug that is funny and potentially helpful to the player. I will not be destroying that one!

---Merchandise---

---Achievements and Leaderboards---

These are functional. I don't know of any issues, but you'll let me know, right? There's a way to reset achievements and such, assuming you want that. At the splash screen ("Khaulepi"), hold X and press 0 to reset all Steam achievements for the game. If you hold Z and press 0, you will reset all nonSteam accomplishments within the game.

Achievements and Leaderboards
Since the 25 achievements are functional, I'm working on leaderboards. They seem straightforward to create, but there are some coding details that might get complicated. Regardless, I intend to have a few leaderboards prepared for release. :)

Steam Sale Tango
Yeah, not going to try selling this while the sale rages on. Will have to push back release date, dudettes.

Because of that, I'll add some new achieves and possibly other stuffs.

---Achievements---

The game will be released with 15+ achievements. That leaves room for at least 5-10 future achievements.

I'm also adding a hidden option to reset Steam achievements and/or nonSteam variables. More info later or upon demand.



---Trading Cards---

Very happy to make these once Steam notifies me I've sold enough copies to be allowed to participate in this aspect of development.

---Updates---

If I'm surprised by sales, I'll start checking with fans concerning possible updates to the game. Assuming sales are low, I won't have enough incentive to update the game regularly.
