If you think this dev releases his projects and then forgets them, you're all wrong ;)
I've made some nice enhancements on Drizzlepath: Glass and am keen to hear your feedback about it.
First of all I have migrated the project source from Unreal Engine 4.13 to 4.19, which is currently the latest version. Along with this progression, came volumetric fog which makes the scenes look much more atmospheric. Also the support of transparent materials being affected by the post-process and exponential fog has made some perfection on the image quality.
As I got feedback from you that the grain is too much, I have reduced it by a fair amount. Now the screenshots will give better compression results. I have used dynamic post-process feature which makes the filters gradually change as you progress in the game. This helps the player to experience scene-specific effects.
The script now has Italian language support, thanks to Enrico Pizzolato for the third time (Nephise: Ascension and Drizzlepath: Deja Vu were before).
For the frame-rate enthusiasts, the max FPS is now set to 120. Also the game is now further optimized, which includes the cancellation of the software cursor in the menu.
If you like to use gamepad, good news for you; now Drizzlepath: Glass has force-feedback support. This is highly recommended in this game for further immersion.
Other than those I've made some fixes and tweaks on the foliage, colours, and also for some of the script code.
Many thanks to my friends who tested the update: Charmed76, CorvusCorax, Dani Kruger, and Mario *LigH* Rohkrämer.
If you haven't played Drizzlepath: Glass, this is time to give it a chance. If you've already experienced it, this is still time to give it another go, because the enhancements are so great that it almost looks like a remaster of the previous build. Now the game's version is 1.1.0 and I hope you're all going to like it.
Enjoy the ride, and game on! :dpeagleia:
