Love is love, regardless of gender. We're so happy to be working on a LGBTQ+ dating sim where people can express themselves. In Drops of Death, players can choose their pronouns (He/Him) (She/Her) (They/Them) and also decide between two appearances.
Before we dive in, we also want to celebrate that we are rapidly approaching 10k wishlists. Thank you all for supporting Drops of Death! We are steadily making progress on the game, so here's a little update on what we have accomplished.

Why are we doing a Kickstarter?
We are on track to release the game in October of 2025, but we'll be launching a Kickstarter in order to enhance the game.

September has been a productive month for our studio. Not only are we wrapping up Love's Crescendo, our yuri rhythm game, but we made a dent in the Drops of Death demo. See below!

The user interface is still a WIP, but boy are we excited to show you the final designs because the concepts alone are great. They really match theme of the game.
First of all, we updated our Steam page that now features the new art, updated character descriptions, and the trailer we made for the game. We also wanted to share that we started working on the demo too! Are you excited for the thrill of possibly dating the killer?
Get to know the four love interests (and possible killers):
Fawn: The Lively, Unsuspecting True Crime Blogger
Fawn is an energetic and knowledgeable detective who runs her own true crime blog called Fawning for Crime. Though she can be annoying (especially to Detective Singh), she loves talking about a killer’s motive and unsolved cases. Some may say her passion for crime is a bit…unhinged.
Natasha: The Quiet One Natasha is a quiet college student who was on the school’s swim team until she was advised to leave for unknown reasons. The experience she had with her teammates wasn’t pleasant and led to her being distant and at arm's length with others—except her older brother, Anton.
Singh: The Detective Nick Singh is a young homicide detective in charge of leading the murder investigation. Growing up he always wanted to be a detective, and eventually he started his career in his hometown, but was relocated to this smaller suburb. Up until now, he’s been forced to do paperwork and small, uninteresting cases.
Edwin: The Best Friend Edwin is Adrien’s best friend and a fellow marketing major, who is part of an active campus fraternity. He can be very protective of Adrien’s well-being and has walked them home to ensure their safety a number of times. However, Edwin has shown extreme bouts of jealousy when Adrien displays the slightest interest in others.

Drops of Death - Progress Update
We’re making steady progress on Drops of Death, a murder mystery VN where the killer is randomly chosen at the start of the game–with a romantic twist where players can date the killer.
We’ve been working on the routes for the main cast, including Detective Singh, Fawn, Edwin, and Natasha. The new artwork for these characters is also a work in progress, including the main character Adrien, an MC with customizable pronouns.

Drops of Death, a Randomized Murder Mystery
Drops of Death is our latest dating sim visual novel and is a bit different than our previous projects... for one, a lot of the scenes are randomized!
The premise of Drops of Death is that you're a college student who ends up being the witness— and almost victim— to a murder on campus. The next few days you try to get back to your regular life while avoiding the killer who's still on the loose. However, at the start of every new game, the killer is randomly picked from one of the love interests! Every playthrough is different, with scene changes and motivations changing depending on who the killer is and who you pursue.
Who can you trust when anyone you can date could be the killer? With Drops of Death we wanted to give players a unique murder mystery experience. While the game isn't focused on solving the mystery, there's still a fair amount of discussion on the case with new clues being found depending on who the killer is.
The full game will allow players to pick who they want the killer to be after playing the game once, or they can play it again randomly. This will let players experience the other plotlines as well as avoid the killer (or go straight to them)!
