Drox Operative 2 patch 1.010

This patch fixes a crash, adds a fighter sorting option, adds a couple Patreon components, and fixes a few other minor issues.

1.010 change list:


  • can now sort followers/fighters ui so that least health/shielded fighters are at the top (Chara H Dreemurr/Pendulu/softi/The_Sith_Lord)
  • can no longer have a system modifier that matches one of the sector modifiers (The Grand Mugwump)
  • fixed a possible crash in Level::isPositionBlockedFromSight
  • turned off some legacy height map stuff (my test area fps went up 10%)
  • added Worbly Blorble unique crew (Patreon)
  • added Darkness unique crew (Patreon)
  • colony/delivery ships are more durable at lower levels now (Star-X)
  • no longer get relation boost from "escorting" a colony or delivery ship if you have damaged them (UsernameTaken2)
  • fixed sometimes another star system right next to the one you are in (gou/Ortman)
  • fixed green dot that shows another probe can be launched not working correctly with skills like Swarm (Owen)
  • when autopickup fails no longer throw in air and get message
  • changed saveVersion to 261

  • turned off handleMouseOffScreenScroll in debug build

Drox Operative 2 patch 1.009

This patch fixes a crash, a couple slow downs, and a bunch of skill/component issues.

1.009 change list:


  • fixed a crash that can happen when searching for group quest members that aren't the leader (ScrObot/RoanokeKeeper)
  • fixed if ever get above max penalties it getting really slow because constantly trying to add penalties but failing (rabidjawa)
  • now only recalculate stats in removeStatusEffect if something was actually removed (causing some slow downs) (rabidjawa)
  • added a new faction
  • Beam Amplification, Impact Analysis, and Dynamic Frequency Generator now enhance chaining and no target beam weapons (Lone Night Raven)
  • Incinerate now enhances chaining and no target beam weapons (Senrezu)
  • Frequency Modulation and Beam Mastery now enhance chaining and no target beam weapons
  • Impact Analysis now enhance Scatter Cannon and Cannon Wave weapons (Lone Night Raven)
  • Plasma Overload and Plasma Cannon Mastery now enhance Scatter Cannon and Cannon Wave weapons
  • Impact Analysis, Ballistic Control System now enhance Torrent weapons (Lone Night Raven)

This patch fixes some XP inconsistencies, a potential crash, some unique monsters issues, and several more minor issues.

1.008 change list:


  • fixed some xp inconsistencies (Fulano/Contrabassist/Destro/poobunsdudley0)
  • fixed a potential crash in Area::getGateName
  • fixed some unique monsters not getting rarity bonuses (firecat666/tommyahugo/Zanakar)
  • rebalanced monster rarity bonuses a little
  • now a sponsored colony ship will lower their minimum threshold for a colony (Fulano)
  • enemies that can't move or be hurt can no longer be part of fleets
  • can no longer attack Zombie race without being at war (tommyahugo/Ortman/Fulano)
  • fixed probes not marking planets as scanned correctly (Fulano)
  • increased last 3 hulls structure to 250/250/275 from 225/225/225 (firecat666)
  • fixed accept only in person quests not showing up in race general quest list
  • fixed highlight text on deliver package button on delivery quests
  • decreased MaxTurnSpeed from 500.0 to 450.0
  • no longer get experience for a kill that player caused but aren't allowed to do directly (trigger a trap that kills friendly) (Fulano)

This patch improves targeting some, makes fighter regen shields faster, adds a few Patreon things, and fixes several more minor issues.

1.007 change list:


  • now targeting prioritizes monsters some
  • fixed light fighters not getting summoned status effect
  • fixed fighters still attacking things unprovoked when using defensive stance (Fulano5321)
  • increased fighter shields regen and made it scale to higher levels (Pongola)
  • added Worlby's Cradle & Worbly's Blorble unique escape pods (Patreon)
  • added The Collector dimensional area/vendor (Patreon)
  • now in a diplomatic win only get small reward chests for subjects (instead of medium)
  • can now spawn specific unique items
  • should no longer auto target anomalies (Automaton)

  • fixed trying to load some Din's Legacy cfg files
  • fixed wrong game showing up at bottom of character exports

This patch adds donators to the credits page, makes starting starbases more common, fixes several small UI issues, and fixes a few more minor issues.

  • added donators to credits page
  • races chance to start with a starbase goes up with higher levels (The Shadow Rose)
  • quests will now show parent quest in info (assuming it is still around) (firecat666)
  • fixed Feedback Pulse not showing correct info
  • fixed descriptions of Feedback Pulse, Unstable Projectiles, Feedback, Concussive Blast, Reactive Armor, Explosive Impact, Shockwave, Shatter, and Destabilize Core that contain old numbers

This patch fixes some hotkey issues, makes enemies using missiles more dangerous, makes chips stronger, fixes a bunch of UI issues, and fixes several more minor issues.

1.005 change list:


  • fixed manual aim beam weapons missing Flame monsters and possibly others (Whatever100500)
  • fixed a couple problems with the first hotkey slot changing automatically to something else (Automaton/Damnation, Ltd.)
  • fixed hotkey of a doomsday device changing when sorting (Morte)
  • linked weapons will no longer fire if left clicking on a usable object (Morte)
  • now enemies using missiles have a higher chance to hit
  • chips magic modifier is now closer to the item level (will in general be higher level) (Darkness)
  • now bombers get added to your dps value correctly (firecat666)
  • fixed plasma cannon wave weapons not having power load (will only effect new items) (firecat666)
  • Drox Guild will no longer decide to help races that won't sign treaties (firecat666)

  • since much easier now, decreased xp reward for protect planet quests

  • now extra money applied to research is applied over time instead of instantly (DrIstvaan)
