Patch 0.3 preview and what I´m working on

Hello Dungeon Clicker!

Things have changed a lot since the game was released in August. Thanks to all the feedback received during these months, the game has been changing and I have tried to introduce all the improvements that you liked the most or those you have requested from the beginning, and thanks to all of that, I can say that the game is much better now, so thank you all for that wonderful feedback. ːsteamhappyː

If any of you are impatient for the next 0.3 patch, here are some things I'm working on right now.




  • Raids
    Raids are single wave dungeons where you will find a powerful boss. Once you kill the boss, the Raid will be completed. Simple, isn't it?.
    Entering the raid has clear advantages: Time and resources. Entering costs both keys and scrolls, but the loot is higher and also takes less time. You have 99 seconds to kill a Raid boss. This boss will have high health or shields, but will also drop much higher loot. But you will have to be careful because Raid bosses have high damage.



  • New UI Interface
    The old warmap interface was small, and did not clearly provide all the information about dungeons. Also, making additions was somewhat more difficult. With the new interface, there is more information, and it has more readability. Of course, everything is subject to change and what you see in the image may not correspond to the final appearance of the interface.



  • Perks
    Perks are unlockable benefits that can be dropped by both bosses and any enemy, depending on the description.
    Each perk has a different ability and once an enemy has dropped you, the perk will be unlocked immediately and the character will have that advantage activated.

    Each character has 6 perks to unlock and a last one that is an active ability, in total there are 7 per character. That adds up to a total of 28 new unlockable skills.



    Take for example "Shock Bullets". It is a perk that when activated converts the normal Gunner´s bullets into lightning bullets, leaving the enemy whit a 100% damage per second debuff. It seems powerful right? You just have to read a few of them to see how powerful they can be. This is just one example of the Gunner's perks. Each character will have many, many more.


  • New Bosses
    Dungeon Clicker will have many bosses, when the daily quest arrive in a future patch, you will be tasked with killing a boss. Well then we need more variety of bosses.
    I have introduced 3 new bosses, each with different behavior and attacks to make them more challenging. Here you can see Skadi in action. Be careful, it does a lot of damage.

    Also, some other bosses in the game such as Mimic and Lord of The Keys now have different behavior than idle and will attack characters.




  • Backup and auto recovery save
    The old save system had some drawbacks, so performance has been improved and also the game will always make a backup of your old save and detect if the current save file is corrupt and automatically replace it with the backup copy.

Hotfix 0.1.12b


  • Fixed an error where enemies inside Golden Dungeon had a multiplier HP.
  • Fixed an error with some textures inside Golden Dungeon.
  • Fixed an error where offline gold window could appear during game.
  • Increased offline gold by 1200%.
  • Increased gold earned by killing bosses in normal waves. Now every passed stage adds a x2 multiplier.
  • Increased gold earned in Dungeons x100.
  • Bosses in Dungeons have now a x50 multiplier dropping gold.

Patch Notes 0.1.12

General

  • Golden Chamber has been added to the game. Now players can access to this Dungeon from the WarMap. This Dungeon is incremental, that means enemies inside Golden Dungeon will have a similar HP (10 waves below) depending of the current wave in the Adventure. Gold is also incremental and has a multiplier x5 in normal waves and x50 in boss waves, and it also depends on the current wave. Entering this dungeon is worth, but also cost 50 keys.
  • Reset talents has been added to the game. Players can now reset talents if they have enough gold. Reseting talents has no effect on pet talents, pet selection or ascension passive skills. If players have pet skill unlocked this skill won´t be reset.
  • Auto Farming has been added to the game. Now from Warmap, players can decide if the game enters automatically in the same dungeon until all keys have been wasted. Players can cancel autofarming when clicking "Return to Map" button.
  • WarMap button has been added.


TECHNICAL

  • Save time has been optimized.
  • Added damage numbers toggle. Now damage done to enemies can be hidden from Options menu. Hiding damage numbers can cause a performance boost in low specs computers.
  • Coins particles has been optimized.


BUG

  • Fixed an error where points to spend didn't match in Archer talents.
  • Fixed an error where DPS info didn´t show correctly in the characters window. Now all characters show base damage correctly. Base damage and DPS will not include the extra damage done in only certain situations, like damage done to bosses or armored enemies.
  • Fixed a bug where Wizard could make critical hits every time.
  • Fixed a bug where Fire Twister could make reduced damage.


GAMEPLAY

  • Gold dropped by bosses in normal waves has been increased by 100%.
  • Base offline gold has been incremented from 1.55 to 5.


CHARACTERS
Archer

  • Death from above has now 80% increased damage.
  • Conflagrate has now 100% increased damage.
  • Volley makes 100% of the base damage.

Wizard

  • Fire Twister speed has been increased to reach distant enemies.
  • Fireball fx has been changed and improved.
  • Fireball speed has been changed from 100 to 120 to reach targets faster.
