After a longer than expected time in Early Access, the team is excited to announce that Dungeon Rustlers is now released.

50 palm-moistening levels.
Global leader boards.
23 bumpin' tunes.
3 player classes.

Just.
Don't.
Die.

Those of you who have been long-time testers of the game will enjoy 10 *brand new* original tracks from our composer: Dmitry Zhbanov. Your foot will be tapping - albeit not as fast as your fingers mashing on the attack button.

Thank you to everyone for all your support during the development cycle. Help finding bugs, suggestions on improving game-play, and raising your virtual pom-poms to support our efforts.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please reach out and let us know. It may be 1.0 but I'm sure there are bugs to be fixed.

Price Increase (for now)

Happy New Year, Rustlers!

Wanted to make everyone aware that we recently requested a price increase in the game to $4.99 (USD). This is so that we can launch the game with a discount (it's better for sales) when the time comes.

Thank you to all our early adopters who picked up the game at the discounted price. In February we'll be exiting Early Access and launching Dungeon Rustlers with a (to be determined) launch discount.

Iiiiiiiiiiit's - PATCH DAY!

This is the final big update before we move into 1.0. From this point on it's just bug fixes with the occasional tweak. The plan (for now) is to wait until Steam's holiday sale is complete, and then we'll move out of EA.

With just one more major patch in the pipeline, Dungeon Rustlers is quickly approaching its 1.0 build.

  • Show the player's health bar over the player by hitting CTRL-H

    Bug Fixes
  • Exhaustion bar took a second to go from grey to blue after it was already full.
  • Player could wedge into a wall if they were in a corner
  • Immune players would still get hit by the Lich spell
  • Player & enemy silhouettes would only draw the right-walking animation when behind an object.

On to level 40! Tonight's update features a bunch of new features, levels, and bug fixes. We're getting even closer to 1.0. Thanks to all of our community members and players who've been submitting bugs, suggestions and spreading the word about DR.

Also, shout-out to everyone who tuned in last weekend to our developer livestream on Twitch. It was an absolute blast to play DR with everyone and hang out. Keep an eye on social media for future stream dates and times.

The Mage Update - v0.2.0



We're excited to release the second playable class for Dungeon Rustlers: The Mage!

He's a fire-ball throwing machine who's an absolute wreaking ball once you've got all his abilities and minions upgraded. The downside? He's squishy. With only 2 hit points, you'll find yourself staying far away from enemies instead of rushing in like you did with the knight.

That means you've got a fresh chance at climbing to the number one spot in the ranking for both the Mage AND the Knight!

- Potential fix for crash due to bad video memory management
- Fixed bad end-level portal spawn locations
- Music no longer starts at the beginning of a level if it's been disabled
- Level number not resetting to level 1 after finishing level 25
- Water bubble was not observing tiering logic

- Lowered frequency of some Knight voice cues

UI Enhancements
- "your best score" Countdown timer now just pulses level timer (doesn't render big numbers)
- Stats and Leaderboard screens now support viewing different classes
