Update May 6th, 2022 - Big Skill Update
I'm excited to release today a pretty significant update for skills (and some abilities). Each skill tree now has 13 abilities to better aid in your adventure, all updated with finalized artwork. Skills should now feel much more useful, being about 40% to 50% of the way complete. I've also included some bug fixes for some of those more annoying issues.
This will ultimately lay the groundwork for the next 1 or 2 zones, meaning I can begin to expand on content. Enjoy!

Changes/Additions
All 10 starting abilities now can be upgraded to rank 2. Though, finding the spell scrolls to learn these abilities may be tricky.
Each skill tree has been updated to include 13 unique skills (up from around 5). This includes rank 2 of their respective resource collection skills and a new passive ability.
Added multiple new consumable items that can be found or crafted, including potions and traps.
Changed Spike and Claw trap abilities to consumable trap abilities.
Added many more shrines and shrine types around dungeons.
Added Tier 2 resources to dungeons.
General rebalancing for all skills.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where your character could recover from knockdown with an incorrect rotation if trying to attack while knocked down.
Fix an issue where DoT effects would linger on destroyed barrel objects.
Fixed an issue in multiplayer where the client player would not save progress on level transitions.
Moved various chests and meshes as to avoid losing items to weird collision.
Adjusted some wonky jump locations.
Update May 3rd, 2022
Another small update with some useful new additions and a couple bug fixes.
Changes/Additions
Abilities on your ability bar will now darken if you do not have enough resources to use it.
Inventory and equipment items now have a slight colored border to indicate item quality.
Added an attack timer bar which spawns below your cast timer bar while your attack is on cooldown.
Changed the color of the spell casting bar to a shade of purple.
Changed around some quests to align with progression and updated some of the objectives.
Added a new quest with an echo reward!
Added a new secret boss.
Updated the party list names to include health and mana bars. These can now be clicked to target party members or yourself.
Added a small (intentional) deceleration to character movement.
Quests can now be abandoned from the quest log.
Changed slayer quests so that multiple enemy types can count towards a quest's objective.
The server info will now be removed in single player.
Buffed Cidel Darkweaver's HP by 50.
Fixes
Fixed the unique item Follower Treads.
Fixed an issue with instant ability animations ending too quickly, failing entirely on remote clients.
Multiplayer is starting to feel good and is certainly playable (and fun) but still has issues replicating some physics actors, especially ragdolling characters on remote clients. I hope to have a further update regarding this soon.
Good luck, Alex

Patch Notes April 29th, 2022
First of all, thank you very much for supporting and playing Dungeoneer. You've all been incredibly helpful in the bug fixing process and ensuring a quality experience is available while the game is in its EARLY early access. Your feedback is always appreciated and welcome, please keep it coming.
With that out of the way, I am happy to release today's patch containing LOTS of bug fixes (mostly for multiplayer), some quality of life updates, and even a couple new small features!
Bug Fixes
Multiplayer
The dungeon menu will no longer open when someone else has died.
Only the host player can open the dungeon select menu from town. Other players will now receive a message instead of triggering the window to open for all players.
Players should all now be able to revive correctly.
Players should no longer recover from knockdown with a broken rotation on other clients.
Barrels destruction should now replicate correctly.
You can now properly target and cast beneficial spells on other players.
Physics body replication has been improved for falling debris, like falling rocks. (there is still a known issue where replication will desync, but you should see a significant improvement)
Fixed an issue where a client's vendor gold could desync, all vendor functions should be working now as expected for all players.
Clients should now see quest markers correctly.
General
Fixed recovering from knockdown, you should no longer spawn inside the world or blocking mesh.
Item spawning has again been improved to hopefully no longer spawn inside other meshes.
Ground effects should no longer damage neutral targets.
Stunning Hits while moving or during an instant ability animation should no longer cause your character to get frozen and stuck with the "Failed to move" message.
Fixed the Honed weapon suffix on certain weapons.
Fixed a broken unique boot item, Follower's Treads, that would spawn as a white square and no description.
Fixed an issue where DoT effects would cause endless spawning of items from destructible objects, like barrels.
Fixed an issue where melee abilities would not correctly trigger while within range of larger enemies, like golems.
New Features / Improvements
Q and E buttons have been added to rotate the camera.
The chat window should now focus/lose focus when using the Enter key.
The Spell Scroll item has been renamed to Empty Scroll and is now a material type item, making it no longer accidentally usable and wasting echoes.
From your Spell Book, combat abilities can now be unlearned as long as you have the required material, an Empty Scroll.
Items now only sell for 1/5 of their value to vendors.
All ability scrolls have had their values increased.
Magic Barriers now have a destroy animation.
I may have missed a few things here, but I think that covers everything. Please notify me if you find any errors and please join the discord to report issues to me or just for general discussion.
Thanks again, Alex
Release Day Updates - April/27/2022
After some initial reviews, I wanted to make some quality of life changes and address a few bugs as well.
You can now hold down right mouse button to continue moving!
Items will now correctly sell to vendors and will no longer drop.
Reduced frequency of loot from mobs, barrels, chests. Also decreased drop chance of random unique items.
Changed text to "Vendor's Gold: xxx".
Added remaining stat points in character screen.
Centered Add Stat buttons, remove Minus Stat button.
Moved remaining echoes text to spell book.
Can no longer use ability scrolls for abilities you already know. Also added warning texts for when you already have the ability and for when you do not have enough echoes.
Items should no longer spawn inside of other collision actor meshes.
Inventory pop up utility menu (disenchant, pick lock, etc.) and buy/sell menus should no longer remain when windows are closed, causing frustrating UI and breaking on hover tooltips.
You can no longer click through most UI, causing your character to move unintentionally.
Fixed an issue when some interactable objects could not be used (passageways, magic barriers).
Enjoy! And as always, thank you for playing and your continued feedback.
