Dungeon Lords!

The Absolute Evil has decided to launch an update for Dungeons 3, including a minor fix as well as a temporary change to the Multiplayer mode. Currently, we are working to improve the invite system but in order to put these changes into effect, we will have to temporarily remove the function to invite people via a Steam friends list to a multiplayer game. However, not to worry as we are working on an improved solution which will be added to the game during the next update, and that will allow you to invite multiplayer partners from a larger selection of potential players.

In the meantime, you can continue to play Dungeons 3 in multiplayer mode by following the below steps:

  • Create a multiplayer game
  • The GameID of your multiplayer game will then be displayed on the bottom-right side of the screen (next to the ‘Play’ button)
  • Memorize your GameID and share it with your friends via Chat, Skype, Discord etc.
  • To play together, have your friends select ‘Join Multiplayer Game’
  • The game will then ask them to enter the GameID and confirm
  • Now, you can start your multiplayer match


We’ve also fixed an issue with the Kalypso Launcher which resulted in the incorrect version of the game to display. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.

Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios today launched their final DLC, A Multitude of Maps, for their cheeky management sim Dungeons 3 on PC, Xbox One and PS4, with the PS4 EU version arriving on the 25th of February.
A Multitude of Maps closes off the Dungeons 3 saga with new missions and action-packed skirmish maps, while also giving the game's sardonic narrator a proper send off.

The DLC includes three new skirmish maps and missions: 'The Summoning Stones', 'Corpses for the Mortuary Mountain' and 'Re-burying the Golem'.

The Ultimate Evil’s time of the year: Halloween!


Halloween is the Absolute Evil’s favourite time of year, and while it might be a little fuzzy on a few of the details (knocking on doors, smashing down castles…same thing, right?), the ever-festive Dungeon Lord does have a treat in store for Dungeons 3 players on Steam:

The Halloween seasonal event started once again in Dungeons 3!

Players will see the Snots under their command wearing special Halloween hats, while your dungeons will also be decked out with pumpkin decorations to get you in the Halloween spirit as you lure scores of do-gooders to their inevitable demise!




Too evil for Halloween? You can always disable the Halloween’s contents in the main menu.

Online and Operational: Spacebase Startopia Revealed


New space station management sim announced at gamescom 2019

Strategy gaming specialists Kalypso Media and developers Realmforge Studios (Dungeons 3, 94% positive rating on Steam) have today announced Spacebase Startopia, an all-new take on the 2001 cult classic, financially supported by the FFF Bayern and coming to Windows PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in Q3 2020. In Spacebase Startopia, manage your very own space station, maintaining the three unique deck types, accommodating eight different alien races and defending against enemy invaders while also contending with the station’s sharp-witted and sarcastic narrator AI, VAL.
