Putting out a quick patch to balance health and mana steal, as well as several bug fixes!

  • Lifesteal & Mana steal now only deals a small % of your max health instead of static point
  • Assigning spells to hotbar will clear previous binding
  • You can now assign spell to quick spell key from Spell Tab
  • Barrels no longer give Life/Mana steal
  • Spider Boss Icon added
  • Two Hand Sword Trail fixed
  • On Talent Reset, starting talent point accounted for in reset
  • When using controller, Hotbar will be removed for controller friendly UI
  • Enemies health bar now should be hidden properly when they are out of agro zone
  • Possible fix to Sufract Hub crashes

Dungeons of Edera: Skill Tree Update

Hail Adventurers!

With the Skill Tree patch we are pushing out the remaining talent unlocks for all skill trees! Along with this we are releasing several more modules for Shimmerspore Caverns, spell balancing changes, and a new mechanic where you will sacrifice your character to unlock the most powerful talents for a given class!

We're getting closer and closer to the 1.0 release of Dungeons of Edera - we are targeting Late May / Early June!

  • Character Retirement: Retiring your character will sacrifice your level 20 or higher character to unlock powerful talents in the common tree and of a class of your choice!

The March update is here, and with it we are introducing lots of improvements to the character editor, adding new spells to unlock, and another pass on optimizations!

Dungeons of Edera: Boss Update

Hail Adventurers!

Releasing an exciting update that completely overhauls all the bosses in the game with new moves and a balancing pass, plus a brand new boss, The Death Knight. We've also added some more basic support for controllers so you can scroll through menus with the right stick with ease!

  • New Boss: Death Knight
  • Boss Overhaul: Every boss now has different attack patterns and combos and will use their spells more sparingly. Lots of Health, Stamina, and mana balancing, and some updates to the AI to change patterns for certain bosses.
  • Unique Weapons added for Bosses
  • Undead, Death Knight, and Big Orc boss voice lines added
  • Spider Boss model updated
  • Spider mob model updated
  • Death Balancing - Death on normal difficulty will only remove non soulbound items from inventory, you will now keep your equipped items regardless of soulbound status. Hard and Insane difficulty still removes ALL non-soundbound items
  • Dodge stamina cost now scales with Chest armor type

Dungeons of Edera: Null Harbor Update

Hail Adventurers!

With this patch we are brining you the overhaul of Null Harbor and the Outskirts of Null Harbor dungeon done by our awesome level designer! These new maps will highlight the medieval Nordic culture that inspired the Sufract Clans faction! Along with this we have done a massive overhaul on optimizations to make each level more consistent in performance.

Dungeons of Edera: Armor Crafting Update

The long awaiting Armor Crafting feature has arrived! Craft Armor and accessories at the crafting bench once you have unlocked Armor crafting in the talent tree!

Along with this we are adding additional modules to Grentrep forest to add a bit more variety to the dungeon!

Dungeons of Edera: Siege of the South Pt. 1

Hail Adventurers!

Happy New year! This patch we are bringing the first iteration of the final campaign Quest, the Siege of the South! This is a three part dungeon, where you will first defend your siege weapons against waves of enemies, then you will storm into the fortress to plant explosives at key locations, before facing off against the final boss! This first iteration will be a rough test of the mechanics, with polish, cutscenes and the new boss to come later!

Along with this, we are introducing some balancing for items drops, reducing the drop chance for standard enemies and giving a huge buff to chests!

You will also be facing off against mini bosses! Starting at normal difficulty, Mini bosses will spawn throughout the map - Number of mini bosses increases with difficulty!

Dungeons of Edera: 0.8.8.4

Hail Adventurers!

This patch we are making some tweaks to the scaling for increased difficulty at higher levels and increasing the chance of higher level enemies spawning based on difficulty selected, with this we are testing out an increased level cap to 70 and have slightly increased needed xp per level.

We've also overhauled the undead skeleton faction models, and added a few spells the Friendly and Enemy fire mage have at their disposal!
