Progress of Dungeons Of Honor

Hey everyone,

It's been some time since the last update for Dungeons Of Honor, but, this doesn't mean development or progress has halted. Over the past few months, Dungeons Of Honor has been going through extensive optimization processes, as well as a unity update, enemies now mixed through all maps, and some visual upgrades.

As of currently, there is no set date for the update, but know it's coming.
If you have any ideas or suggestions on what you would like to see come to the game, let me know!

Alpha 1.8

New Features:


  • New Map: Campsite.
  • New Enemies: Ghost Trolls.
  • New weapons: Ghostly Executioner(Axe), Battler(Great Axe)
  • Added Triple Threat mode, a mix of all current challenge modes.


Changes:


  • All classes have been reset, and primary/secondary weapons now have separate categories.
  • You can now reset all or separate classes at will
  • Setting Menu Rework.
  • Level Class select menu rework.
  • New theme music.
  • Changed Standard Crosshairs
  • Lucky strike & Shielded unlock level swapped. Lucky strike now being available from level 7, and shielded from level 13.
  • Changed melee range from box area based, to point ray cast based. Meaning for better range, and more accurate hits.
  • Font change.
  • Modes are now unlocked with levels.
  • Slightly reduced time before the player begins healing.
  • Lowered required amount of kills needed for angel statues on the barracks from 15, to 8.
  • Halved damage dealt by all enemies.
  • Blue slimes and Assassin trolls now give more points on death.
  • Small map changes on The Barracks.
  • New Application Icon.


Fixes:


  • Fixed a bug where you could select classes without being the appropriate level.
  • Fixed a bug where audio preferences wasn't being applied.
  • Fixed a bug stopping settings being saved.
  • Fixed Render issues on intro.
  • Fixed an issue where the club class button would unlock before the skull basher.
  • Removed a chair on the barracks, that was causing slimes to get stuck on spawn.
  • Fixed issue with projectiles being stuck/hitting invisible barriers (apply to barracks).
  • Fixed a bug where Assassin trolls were dealing double damage.
  • Fixed some missing collisions on The Barracks.

Update Alpha (1.7)

Christmas Event is now here! Decorations are hidden around the maps, can you find them all?

Additions:


  • Added footsteps to the player.
  • Added power Easter egg objectives for The Barracks.
  • Added power weapon to The Barracks, complete the Easter egg to obtain for that game.
  • Added a audio cue to find the blacksmith
  • Added footsteps to troll enemies.

  • Added Power Ups and De-buffs that you can get from enemies.


      (Power Ups):
    • Freebee = Next purchase is free.
    • Double Points = Doubles points earned for 15 seconds
    • point boost = Rewards the player 1000 points
    • speed = Boosts player speed for 15 seconds

      (De-buffs):
    • Deduction = Removes 1000 points from the player.
    • Taxation = Next purchase is doubled.




Changes:


  • Changed some door costs.
  • Changed blacksmith spawn location in lab on The Barracks.
  • Changed look of staff projectiles.
  • Chests are now interactable.
  • Increased accuracy of ranged weapons.
  • Reduced mixed variant round start cap from 25, to 10.
  • Moved an enemy spawn in landing east, on Last stand.
  • Upgraded metal textures.
  • Upgraded Weapon textures.


Fixes:


  • Fixed Vegetation not having snow on The Barracks.
  • Fixed a bug where you could only use the blacksmith, if you had over the amount required.
  • Fixed an issue where some doors would not open others intended.
  • Fixed an issue where a door could trap players against a table on the barracks.
  • Fixed an issue where looking through certain barrels and boxes, create a clipping issue.
  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck on doorframes on The Barracks.
  • Fixed an issue where fog changes were delayed by a round.
  • Fixed enemies teleporting back to their original position, making the flow of rounds slow.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed enemies to walk through the blacksmith area.

Alpha 1.6

Double XP event is now over, but fear not, the Christmas event is around the corner

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where wave stings would not sound on Last Stand.
  • Fixed an issue where fog wasn't being updated when required.
  • Fixed issue where wave stings would not be affected by music volume.


Changes:

  • Fog changes and wave stings now happen at the start of waves, rather then at the end of them.
  • The Blacksmith now has a delayed initial spawn of 10 seconds.
  • The Blacksmith now takes 7 seconds before appearing in a new location.
  • Reduced time between waves from 15 seconds, to 10 seconds.
  • Graphics upgrade.
  • Objects in courtyard on The Barracks, are now covered in a layer of snow.
  • Water visuals have been upgraded.
  • Changed spawn point on Last Stand

Additions:

  • Added post processing.
  • Added description pop ups for weapons, perks and Maps.
  • Added 3 challenge modes:

    • One Hit,
    • Starting Room,
    • Mystery Weapon.


Alpha 1.5.2

Second Part to the hotfix

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the staff category in armory, was accessible before the first staff weapon is unlocked.
  • Fixed issue where the blacksmiths beacon had a collider, and casted shadows.
  • Fixed Enemies pushing players.
  • Fixed Enemies not teleporting to a close spawn point if the player was far away.
  • Fixed a potential bug that would allow the player to pick up a weapon from the blacksmith when not close to it.
  • Fixed a bug where ranged weapons being displayed from the Blacksmith, could fire.
  • Fixed an issue where slimes spawning on The Barracks, in storage, would become stuck outside the map bounds.
  • Fixed some colliders allowing players into untouchable spots on The Barracks.
  • Fixed an issue where the blacksmith would spawn floating on Last Stand.


Changes:

  • Changed the look of spotter visuals.
  • Neatened a few areas on the Barracks.
  • Neatened areas on Last Stand
  • Opening the Garderobe door, now opens the dinning room door also, on Last Stand.
  • Small upgrade to lighting.
  • Tweaks to game window.


Additions:

  • Added hit particles to enemies
  • Added more animations to Slimes.
  • Added new death animation for the Assassin.
  • Added a temporary universal sound effect to melee weapons.
  • Added ladder door in Entrance, on Last Stand.
  • Added a connection between Dinning room and Garderobe, on Last Stand.
