Summing up The Builder
We’ve now spent a month putting the spotlight on The Builder in Dwarfheim! It’s time to let the builders do what they do best and keep building while we shift our spotlight towards another class.

In May, we're going to give The Builder some time away from the Spotlight, as this is thirsty work, for sure.
The Builder will still be available to play when we open for the next beta. But we'll be shining the spotlight and learning about another DwarfHeim class in May.

Tower and gate defences
Builders are also incredibly good at building defences for the Dwarven city. Gates and towers are brilliant defences against the hordes that are constantly trying to attack your city. If you have enough resources - make sure that you make some defences that will slow down and dampen the attacks from trolls and other armies.
If you play The Builder, don’t forget to build these defences in the underworld, as well, to protect the miners digging out those precious minerals!

Sigurd Murad - CTO and Master of Technology. Sigurd is a kind of genius that we’re so lucky to have leading our programing and technology development. He's a vital part of our design and admin team.
Kenneth Kristensen - Lead Programmer. Kenneth is such a vital member of our team and filled to the brink with information about the game. This is your chance to prod him of as many details as you can!

It's not all just wood and rocks for The Builder. They are also responsible for building and maintaining the farms that grow the essential food to help the Dwarven city grow.
All the classes are dependent on food to grow and The Builder needs to keep the stock up for to keep the hard working Builders, Warriors and Miners hard at work to keep the city safe and productive!
Actually ... at one point, The Builder can build a house where they can cultivate an advanced Farmer - any guesses on what type of house this could be?

DwarfHeim has a number of classes to choose from to suit what you're craving to play.
Since Tuesday we have been streaming the Warrior Class, showing how to defend your settlement and cut through your enemies.
From today, we're showcasing the Builder Class in another Live Stream! Because what's the point of defeating your enemies if you don't have a home to come back to?!

Pineleaf Studio and Merge Games Announce Partnership!
Today we’re thrilled to announce that we have signed a publishing deal for DwarfHeim with Merge Games to bring our Co-op Multi-Player RTS to PC. In Merge we have found a partner that is just as passionate about making innovative games as we are and we’re excited to be working with them.
“We grew up playing RTS-games,” says CEO/Game Director Hans-Andreas Kleven, “but in recent years we find ourselves playing more and more online co-op with our friends. So at Pineleaf we wanted to be the first to bring REAL co-operational multiplayer to our loved RTS genre. More trolls are coming!
This troll is ready to pummel some more dwarves! During our last beta, where we gave survival a try, 90% of the matches were shorter than ten minutes. That means this troll had the time of his life. The dwarves? Not so much, unfortunately. Some players liked the difficulty spike while others hated it. Survival is still a relatively new feature, and there are still lots of variations left to implement.
We're gonna do some more tweaking, as well as some general updates to the game. We got some really radical changes planned down the line that we are aching to show you!

Welcome to Cliffside, our new Survival and Sandbox map.
This weekend another round of exclusive beta testing begins. This time featuring a new game mode: Survival. The game mode can be played by you and 1-2 friends, and will have you try to survive for as long as possible. Hans, Sigurd, and Marianne are all heading to, as we say in Norweigan, the "big out-land" of LA and bringing DwarfHeim to Dreamhack. If you're at the event, run by our booth and we might have some cool limited swag for our lovely clan members!
