We are back with another major update for Dwarven Skykeep! Dwarves were toiling hard to bring you new content and a load of changes.
This is the full changelog for the update:
Content
New challenge mode added: each of the five worlds now has a challenge level with greatly increased difficulty which is unlocked upon completion of each world
“With or without us” level in rebalanced: now Crow bring 3 artifacts and the whole set of artifacts will allow you to complete the level without relying on dwarves
Skeletons now have a limited life-span and they will crumble to dust as soon as it’s up
Fixes
CTD while traveling between locations in Dwarven City is fixed
General stability while navigating Dwarven City and buying cards is improved
Battle Dwarves behavior is improved: while attacking a single enemy of a certain type or attacking enemies standing on a trolley only one dwarf starts fighting
“Snow Queen” level save bug fixed (if you take a save the moment the boss is defeated)
Broken windmill animation fixed
Issue that caused a glitch in the tutorial about arming the dwarves is fixed
Issue causing the protagonist to clip the level and teleport while using mouse control is fixed
It’s no longer possible to fall off the top of the mountain in Dwarven City

It's been a little over a month since Dwarven Skykeep was released, and after a few initial hotfixes, we were hard at work to bring a more substantial gameplay update with new content and more quality-of-life improvements.
We are ready to present the full changelog and we hope you'll like it!
Content
New challenge-levels in 3rd, 4th and 5th worlds
New tutorial made of 9 missions close to actual gameplay
First levels of Goblin World were balanced towards being a bit easier to help new players
4th and 6th levels of Shadow World are reworked and simplified
New global icon tooltip "Dwarves are tired and they want a beer"
In Shadow World the main focus is on the usage of Vampire Dwarves and the gameplay tactics associated with them
Gameplay
Deck and artifact tuning is now available with each level restart
Less RNG influence - more player skill: Magic Vortex and Carpenter Workshop now give you the option to select a card to draw
Enemy Sorcerors no longer kill dwarves with one shot
Card secrets [?] are now revealed upon placing of the block, not after it's finished
"Warm" explosions will now temporarily warm up the rooms in Winter World (an extra gameplay way to beat the level)
Bugfixes
Fixed using Water Pump card while having Fake Beard artifact
Fixed destroying ice with fireballs
QOL
ESC button now cancels all actions in the game
On the deck-building screen the active deck is now on the right side of the screen
Current level's goal is now a daily notification in-game in the upper part of the screen

Fixed missing cards that should've been added to Dwarfopedia upon discovery, i.e. Chambers
Fixed Courier Boots artifact bug when Dr.Kness was running around the ladders
Fixed typos and errors in English, Russian, Ukrainian and German localizations
Mac OS - specific error that prevented players from clicking anything after launching the game is now fixed
Quality of Life:
Added tooltips to skip dialogues and cutscenes
Now you can skip the intro using Esc and go straight into the tutorial
Irinia the card trader is now easier to find in Dwarven City
New settings option: camera shaking
With camera shaking turned on frequency and amplitude of camera shaking is reduced
Removed tooltip with mission goals after Day 1
Double click and hold click are now swapped. Now double click equals pressing E (interaction with room) and double click is melee attack (given that you have appropriate artifact)
While you do deckbuilding & artifact selection in-between missions players will now see goals of an upcoming mission
