Dynopunk Characters and Their Prototypes
We have decided to prepare an article that will not only be interesting, but also educational, as it will tell you what dinosaur species the developers were inspired by when coming up with the characters for their game.
Our ambitious but starry-eyed protagonist. He knows what he wants, but what he wants is not always pragmatic, so, suffice to say, his life has its many ups and downs. The main things Chris needs to learn is self-confidence as well as having a more realistic outlook on the world around him.
Chris's best friend from college who prefers to take it easy and cruise through life in stress-free mode, which often lands him in trouble. While some wonder how he manages to avoid worrying about anything at all, this lax attitude sometimes prevents Justin from finding common ground with more seriously-inclined dinosaurs.
Serious, bold, and determined, Dyss is an embodiment of a true biker's free spirit. On the other hand, she often lacks diplomatic skills and flexibility when talking to others, all because of her hot-tempered nature and aversion to chit-chat.
A responsible police officer with rich life experience and a keen sense of justice. Due to the nature of his work, Marcus often has to deal with the fear of losing his family or leaving them alone when they need him the most.
Strict with himself and others, especially in matters of morality, he respects straightforward and no-nonsense dinos.
A girl from a troubled family whose motto is: "My life is a total mess, so why should I care?" Hates being lectured or told what to do.
A bully with the habit of solving all problems through brute force. Unaccustomed to racking his brain before taking action, Bon hates "smart guys" and sarcasm, especially when the former use the latter against him, as it makes him feel really stupid.
A former classmate of Chris and a top manager at the ZaurTech company, he is not actually tech-savvy at all, but likes giving orders and knows how to make a good impression on his superiors.
Roy is not overly concerned with issues of morality, allowing him to easily take advantage of others. He is also not shy about making dirty jokes or employing sarcasm to offend someone else's sensibilities.
A fast-talking ZaurTech employee that values science above everything else. Always tries to explain phenomena from a scientific point of view, especially love and affection, for which she typically does not care much.
Sye also believes that primates may someday evolve into more complex and highly organized creatures.
A charismatic dinosaur going against the system, he expresses his protest in the form of songs. Sid's image combines elements of glam rock and 80s heavy metal, but even still, he is no stranger to romance and knows how to win over the hearts of girls with just the right sort of lyrics. Likes people with bizarre dreams and unconventional points of view.
A tough mafia member, always accompanied by two bodyguards.
A son of rich parents, he always wears the latest fashion-brands clothes and loves speaking in catchphrases. As a rule, he also gesticulates way too much.
Surrounded by wealth and abundance since birth, C. Jee does not understand poor dinosaurs all too well. Many of his "friends" also simply use him as a convenient money bag.
A shy girl who believes it is wrong to show bad emotions. She finds it easier to smile even when she is angry or feeling sad.
